Dont know how I missed this place, sure is nice to be here. Just got my first Swiss-tool, RS I think it is? Got a bunch of flashlights, so looking forward to reading that section and the gadget section and all the rest.
Any Cal.

Hi there Richard. It's nice to have a member from Oklahoma.
By the way, what brand are most of your flashlights? I'm new to flashlight and the next flashlight that I will get will be a Fenix TK10.

I think if you look closely, you might recognize this guy as an old school SOSAKer... since his pic has been up on SOSAKOnline since the early days, I'm sure he's aware of the site!
Good to see you here man- I don't make it to G-Forces much these days since I barely have the time for here and KF, but make sure to say Hi to Drew and the rest of the gang there for me!

Hiya Def. I will definately pass along your greetings to g-forces. I seem to remember when you discussed starting this place and thats kind of when my life went through some major changes. I was reminded of this place just last night, I saw the link In a sig line of aember at CPF. You know of all the SAKs I have had, I have never owned one of their multitools until now, they sure are nice.
Most of my lights are Surefires and Inovas with a smattering of other brands. I have the Fenix TK10, all I can say is don't be a idiot like me and flash yourself in the eyes just to see if 225 lumens is really that bright... It is, I promise.

My wife's cousin did that once with an Inova X5 I'd just bought. I didn't think it was important to tell her not to look in the end, so I guess it's my fault, but I gotta wonder why she did it in the first place! Of course she doesn't know anything about flashlights, what was your excuse?
I may not know much about them, but I do know the bright end always gets pointed
away
from the face!
They should consider the time it takes for the purple spots to go away as a new rating for flashlights!

Well, just be glad you decided to test a flashlight and not a tactical knife like Inky does!
