TGIF

well another week of work done. :)

we had a rough morning dealing with a sewage leek.

He didn't see alot of work outside but I was glad I had him with when I was taking the blade of the back of the tractor we used to move the tons of snow that was in our way of getting a pumper truck to suck up most of the leek.

I,needed to take of the rear plow blade so I could use the pto pump we have.

the rest of my afternoon was spent doing the same thing I did yesterday. Ripping up old carpet and linoleum. Fat man ate his full of staples and nails that needed to be pulled up from the floor before we can lay any new flooring down.  Blades, pliers, saw, file and wire cutters where all used.

well see if he gets the weekend off or if I put him to work on my own home improvement crap.

Well fat man has some skills I wasn't aware of.

he's a dentist

or he thinks he is .

I smacked myself in the mouth with him this morning while I was pulling up staples and knocked out half a tooth.

so I got to spend my lunch break at my friends a real dentist.

I'm home now shoveling down some food quick and I am going back to work.

fing Mondays suck

Fat Man hungers

I've been feeding him all these little nails but hasn't been chewing his food and always spits them out.

he's needs to chew up something. The cutters are just screaming to get some more use.

I also removed/replaced a toilet, heater vent, light switch covers and used him to change saw blades when I couldn't find a tool in my mess.

its almost Friday:)

I'm back to carrying a rebar tonight. A Ss one this time. Its stiffer than my last rebar but I'll break it in

The metal saw got its first use today.

I had to cut two bolts holding a toilet down so I could install the bolt covers.

I was impressed how good it worked.   :multi:

Is it a saw or a file?
I know on SAK they call it a metal saw, but not LM.

I believe the underside of the file on the ST300 and Rebar is the metal saw.

I know what it is. See below:

Quote from: Leatherman
A 420HC stainless steel tool with a crisscross pattern that forms a rough surface for the user to file or smooth both wood and metal surfaces. The file pattern on Leatherman files is extended to the end of the file as well as down the side to give a file stoke and/or a more precise file edge.
Does not advert it being use as a saw. So if you failed to saw with it, you can not blame they.

The rebar got broken in tonight replacing a light switch in my hallway.

one of those honey do jobs I never remember to do.

well tonight I did. It was a easy job the rebar handled flawlessly.

first the old one had to come out

then putting it back together

let there be light

edit

I forgot to mention that all the pics I took tonight were lit by my maratac rev 3 aa

the hardest part of the job was trying to hold the light, rebar and try get a decent pic with the cellphone. I needed 3 hands
