Please don't think I don't like this thread or haven't liked doing it.

I just did like the way it read when I last paged through it.

I should have done it in the first person from the view of the fat man.
it would make it a interesting. For both me and you.  :rofl:

I think id do a better job if I did it on a computer.

every post I've made here has been made by smartphone.

JA,like I said,it wasn't a complaint.

The thread is a record not just of how two multitools behave,but the tasks and events faced in everyday working life :tu:

It's real world use,a true reflection of how they perform,and the tasks that the average user will face,rather than the over puffed marketing bumpf or mall ninja reviews that otherwise fill cyberspace.

Don't change a thing mate :tu:
There is no beginning,or ending,and for this we are thankful,cos now is hard enough to understand!

I want to keep you all up to date on what I use my st300 for. It proves i use my multitool every day and that the tool can stand the strain of repeated usage.
~~~
so i just do what i would normally do with my multitool while telling you about what I did to keep track of it.
my version of long term testing.
This is why I keep up to date on this thread. Good, honest feedback about real world tool use (not abuse).
Keep up the great work JA :salute:.
Get a Rebar! I love mine, didn't expect that at all.
JA, may I suggest you alternatively carry ST300 / Rebar to work? That way little white boy can see some action.
This evening I got to show a home so Il be leaving the little boy at home and I'm putting fat man and kit in my bag just in case I need tools.
Il be pocket carrying a ps4, spyderco dyad Jr and a lef lenser k2.
its a rare occasion that I'm the one who has to dress up.
dress shirt and pants , cleaned shaved, pony tail. The Used car salesman look lol
I'm still moving snow now Fat man helped a bit when I put new plow markers on the sides of the plow. I can see where it I now.
 I ripped the old ones off early this winter. Phillips driver and plier's were used.
the gadget is on permanent key chain carry duty.
its been handy a few times at work and home.
I can't honestly answer that question yet.
I can say if I knew I was going to use it I'd take the st300 but if I just wanted a tool on me just in case I needed one the rebar carry's nice.
sorry I can't give you a better answer.
lol
I gave them links to my topics when I asked them to donate a me a piranha 2
I don't know if they even looked at them.
all I know is they told me I could buy one from there home site. A 35.00 chunk of steel I can't afford now.
seems nobody can. I haven't seen one here yet unless I missed it.
Thanks Leatherman for all the help.  :salute:
I'm sure they were to busy drawing up a tool for surfing or some Smurf to look at the links a life longcustomer gave them.
Go Leatherman  :tu:
fyi
I've owned a leatherman tool of one flavor or other since the early 90'S .
Nice weekend
the new guy came in handy a few times
 I used it quite a bit for Para cord knot work.
 a nice size pliers to use making tight knots. Both blades cut cord easy the plane edge was a little better at it but they both work. "why they didn't label the blades"
the awl made a ok marlin spike to untie a few lanyards "wrong tool for the job to sharp"
the small flat worked a little better on some knots but couldn't get into others.
its to shiny. I will be replacing my lost Bo rebar this summer.
The fat man was by my side while I played Plummer today.
I removed and partly installed a tub in q used home in fixing up getting ready to sell.
fat man helped remove some screws holding the tub to the wall, I also used him to pull some nails that were in the way .
he isn't much of a plumber all the pipes ect are to large for his jaws.
its in the 40s here today. Spring has sprung:)
