Have you had any chance to test the bit kit with the Rebar ?

unfortunately no not yet.

I did some bit swapping with my charge set up so I would have the bits I need but I have yet to use them

I have played with them a little bit. I think they should work out well.

the only down side is lm bits won't work in a drill.

I may just go back to carrying 1/4 bits and the driver.

well see.

The little boy cuts almost as good as his big brother.

it uses the same cutters.

I'm freeing up a trailer getting it ready to move.

I cut a bunch of coaxial cable and power wire with ease.

what a great little tool.

Well I got pics today of some not very exciting action.

tightening a door knob and a drawer handle

I wanted to show how nice of a size this tool is to use. The fat man was just to fat for fixing door knobs. The little boy on the other hand is just right.

Little Boy, Honest John and crew got a new home today.
I just got a skinith L Shield

I went back to normal 1/4 bits. The leatherman bits don't work in a drill or with the pocketwrench 2 I'm carrying.

I'm VERY HAPPY with the new skinith. It fits my work carry perfect. :)

Oh yes that's right.  I had forgotten about the snowbank incident.  I bet the BO coating helped for sure.

Joel, the Little Boy is going strong after all he's been through!  :tu:

I always wonder about the ricasso and choil on the Rebar blade. Is this intended to be a finger choil, the index finger lying in front of the other plier handle?

Isn't it there to provide clearance for the lock pivot?

Little boy got a work out today

lots of cutting .

I got a few pics but he cut way way more stuff that didn't get pictured

heat tape .

solid copper ground wire

Mobile home straps that hold the home to the ground.
I cut 4 of these. There some serious tough stuff.

fist I make a cut

showing the cut

next i use the pliers to tear the strap

showing the strap after I cut it and ripped it apart.

ps

it was not painful to use. It did not cut into my hand at all.

I took this pic right after I cut/ripped the straps.

he's a dam good little worker.

almost as good as his big brother. :tu:

So far it's been doing everything the Fat Man has done. I wonder if an ST300 is worth the extra weight then

its worth the weight for the extra leverage the handles give.

I noticed you mentioned it did not cut up your hands at all. Mine does not either. I actually tried to hurt myself using it and could not get it to cut into my hands.

Same here.  I tried hard and even adjusted my grip in different ways trying to feel any potential cutting, but nothing.

I was trying also.

there's no other reason for me to be ripping through trailer house ground straps with a little rebar .

it wasn't any more painful to use than any other multitool I've used.

I would have been disappointed if it did cut into me . I should have tried to use it without gloves on before now
