It makes a guy feel good to use whatever gifts God has given him (in my case, very few) to help someone who needs it.  Especially mom and the bro.

Very True.

we all got to help one another.

Good work Joel, and I'm glad the Little Boy was a big help in all that :salute:  Seems to me like he's pulling his weight huh?  You haven't broken him yet :pok:

thanks Man

you know Kyle I don't think I'm going too anymore. I've kinda tried.

Yeah, I'd be surprised if you did at this point, especially if you've actually tried.

I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea. I haven't been trying to break him but I have done things with him I know would have broken a lesser tool. Things id except would break him

turning rusty turnbuckles with one side of the plier tips was probably the worst. I was using all my strength and it took my turns to loosen

Not much action for little boy today.

I'm putting down plastic on carpet floors in display homes

he did help a little when I changed blades on my utility knife

not very exciting but a good days work nonetheless

Well I didn't use little boy much at work today

he did help me finish instilling a sink and redo a bathroom.

putting the handles on the sink

taking off a shower rod holder. I'm putting in a new shower surround tomorrow or Monday

he also got put to work when I got home fixing the taillights on my wives minivan

I didn't use little boy for a Smurfing thing today.

I was shoveling dirt and leveling lots to put new homes on.

a long day .

I got a bunch of these plastic straps with little boy today.

they are the straps that hold concrete blocks together . Some tough stuff to cut but little boys serrated blade handled them with ease.

it  kept a sharp edge after cutting dozens of them.

leathermans 420hc is some pretty good steel.

Before this review is over I want to thank all of you for putting up with my poor grammar and spelling

I have a learning disability that makes it almost impossible for me to not mess up.

I've been trying my best.

this has been a good review.

I just read threw most of it.

amazingly most of it made sense to me.

I wish I could show it to my English teacher.

I graduated 20 years ago lol

I think I'm better at writing now than I ever have been.

these reviews I've done have really improved my writing  skills.

thanks again for putting up with all my mistakes

you all rock  :tu: s

It's all made sense to me buddy, so I'd say you're doing just fine :tu:  You've practically written a novel with this review, as well as others you've done, so it's no wonder if you see improvement in your writing.  Keep up the good work and reviews my man.  Oh, and what's your next review, the Surge?

Oh cool, I have wondered h the Gerbers can do.  That's one company I haven't tried out yet (for MTs I mean).  They do seem to have a very mixed rep around here, so it'll be interesting to see how you like it and how it handles what you put it through :tu:

In my experience, they're not  :tu:

They are clunky, maybe not the most efficiently designed tools that are around. But they surely aren't junk :)

What Steve said. :tu:

I know I haven't posted here much lately but I've always dropped in and followed the adventures of the two LM. :D

If you do a Gerber MP600 review, I'd love to read it. I'm hopefully getting my first one soon so I don't have any personal experience with them.

As always, it is nice to see tools in actual use as that is the only real test!  :)

So what name are you gonna give to the Gerber??

I've had a satin Rebar, and later a BO Rebar on me almost every day since I started reading this thread.  Which says something - maybe that I am susceptible to peer pressure.  :)  But the Rebar has certainly come in handy.  Maybe I'll switch to MP600 to correspond with your next thread.  This is not original to me, but the MP600 is somewhat like the AK-47 of MTs.  Its sorta rattly and cheapy feeling (to me), but always goes bang when you ask it to.  And that's the real point of carrying an MT.   Thanks for one of the finest threads on MTO, and I look forward to the next one.

I highly doubt that it was peer pressure that is the reason you carry a rebar.

most likely its that you know a good tool when you see/feel one.

thanks for following powernoodle

I'm looking forward to doing many more reviews.

ps

I haven't unsheathed little boy yet today.

I've been shoveling gravel all day

Awesome analogy to describe the MP600.  :tu: I try and explain to people the essence of the MP600 and MP400 and that sums it up well.

All the MP's are built like brick smurf-houses. I prefer the ones with replaceable wire cutters and wharncliffe blade but there are several variants to choose from.

Well I did a bunch of work with little boy today.

I didn't have time for pic.

I rewired a trailer and fixed the fender on the tote truck we move houses with.

now here's the bad news

I broke the flat driver on little boy.

I was fixing the fender on the truck I was using the driver to hold a large flat head screw with it while tightening its nut. It just snapped. I was working at a odd angle but I can't understand why it broke. I wasn't using that much force.

I had a feeling it was going to happen. He had less than two weeks of work before I switched tools.

here's a pic

I'm a little disappointed. I wasn't abusing it. I'd understand if I was doing something I shouldn't.

on top of that I got a mobile home stuck im a ditch

its gonna suck getting it out.

I'm having a bad day.

Fortunately, Leatherman's warranty service seems to be pretty good.  You download the form off the website and send it in with your Rebar.

I'll have to have the forum printed out at work.

all I got for net is a cell phone.

I do have a back up rebar I was gifted from a good friend.

I'm not going break it at work.

there's no reason to break two.

also its like new and I want to keep it that way   >:D
