Vic Farmer...
on: May 24, 2008, 10:43:42 PM
I couldn't resist... I was browsing on Amazon for gifts for a few folks and stumbled across a Vic Farmer in Red Alox. Of course I had to "add one" to the order just to check it out for myself.

 :D

My first Farmer, but probably not my last! A very nice SAK.

The Farmer is one of the best. The last couple of days I've been experimenting with what I carry and I'm carry my Farmer ATM. Super super knife.

The Farmer seems to have hit a sweet spot in the outdoorsy folks, there's really no drawbacks about the whole setup.

I also EDC one if the saw on my multi isn't that great.

In all seriousness, if there was a way to cram tweezers into a Farmer, that would be the only SAK I'd ever use.

P.S. To all feline veterinarians reading this: orange is my favorite color in EDC gear.

No you can't :-\, but you can always pair the Farmer with a 58-65mm sak :), thats what a lot of people do, myself included :)

I have a really nice pair of tweezers on my keychain all the time, and an EDC depot spy capsule with (cut in half) toothpicks in it, so I can carry the Farmer without missing tweezers and a toothpick! :D

I'd do that (boy, do I love alox), but the SAK in my EDC is already meant to complement my Juice S2. I'm afraid it's Campers for me.  :(

Yeah well, I'm gonna get lots of splinters, bleed half to death and post the photos here, so you all feel guilty.

Those Farmers better be Titanium, or something.  :pok:
