I can only imagine the smell in that house....

We make Venison Sausage and Jerky both on a dehydrater.

I'm not sure if they have "Dales" seasoning where you are, it's a liquid smoke flavor almost. Absolutely our favorite flavor so far.

Have you ever tried to smoke them?

The wine sausages get smoked. They can be kept out of the fridge for a long time. The spicy ones (lots of garlic, pepper..) do not get smoked
