Old pioneer like model question
on: January 14, 2014, 02:22:09 AM
I ran across an old silver alox pioneer with the silver cross. The kicker is that instead of the can opener, it had what looked to be a small eye glass size flat head. I've never seen or heard of this before. Does anyone know what this model is called?

That would be the Technician. :) Quite a find.

Why, did you already sell a kidney? :)

No, not yet, lol. That's going to be the hard part, trying to figure out what it's worth.

No doubt.  It was sure a lot easier to find older ALOX models 5-6 years ago...

I just got mine a month or so ago. I have not been in the alox game very long but a Technician was up there on the want list so once I had the chance I didnt even think twice about it.

Nice!  Ive got one but its not in near as good of shape as this beauty!

I also tried making one from a can opener, and it kind of works.

Its a little more beat up than the picture leads you to believe but its definitely in good condition.

Good idea about using the can opener to make the driver. Is the length the same? Looks a tad bit shorter, but that could just be from the picture.
