Are you really asking?
Every pair of scissors on this planet fantasizes to become a Vic when it grows up.

Victorinox is the clear winner.  No other scissor is as precise.  Not even close.

  :D

I love most Vic Scissors, except I do think the scissors on my Vic Spirit grew up a little funny.  The narrow opening and it operates more like a shear than a scissors, not quite like its glorious 91mm SAK cousins.

That's why I choose the Spirit S. They should have implemented the finest scissors to Spirit also, their own 91mm.

I'd have to say Vic or Gerber.  The only LM scissors that I've used, and liked, are the ones on my Style CS.

It's hard to say.

Best scissors EVER? Original SOG Crosscut. If the slight impairment of the gear teeth doesn't bother you. But those aren't exactly 'available' any more, as in, on the new-for-sale market. I paid big bucks to get an original SOG Crosscut with TiNi coating recently, because I felt that in the very long run it's worth having the very best. I care about my scissors more than any other MT component. The current Crosscut 2.0 isn't as good.

Best CURRENTLY? My opinion, the Leatherman Scissor-based MT. Micra or Style CS. When cutting performance, ruggedness and ergonomics are all considered, I think the Style CS wins.

But I've tested GREAT scissors on Gerber MTs, both fold-out on plier-based MTs, ala the MP400, AND the incredible pair on the Mini Suspension S. I WOULD have said the mini Suspension S is the best ever, but recently something went wonky with mine, and now they suck, and they weren't subject to 15 years of abuse like my original Crosscut. So... best initially, failed long-term.

The best FOLD-OUT scissors, IMO, are the 91mm Vics. With a caveat. They're not very tough. I screwed up the cutting edge on my Climber on bread-tie wire. That's something my Crosscut and Micra handle repeatedly with ease. So they're good, but not very heavy duty.

For the budget minded, I still think the Crosscut 2.0 is a good choice, if Scissors are your main need, and they need to be really good, but not perfect.

You know... there are a lot of good scissors out there on MTs these days, now that I'm thinking about it. :D

I voted Leatherman/Vic/Gerber.

All make some excellent scissors.

I suppose my only experience of the SOG scissors is the fold out MT ones, which are crap. I can see the CrossCut being better.

Vic for the clear win, even on the Spirit

I reckon the Fiskers scissors of Gerbers are one of Thier strongest features, and edge the LMs. SOG MT scissors though?
There is no beginning,or ending, and for this we are thankful, cos now is hard enough to understand!

I vote the Wenger scissors highly. I've EDC'd a Wenger for over a decade and abused the scissors on it quite a bit, cutting wire, tin, cable ties, plastic, ... and they just kept going and never got dull. The pivot got a bit loose over time but after I repinned it it was like new again. Great on the rough stuff but may be not so good for finer tasks.

I prefer the Style CS over the Micra purely on the feel in hand while cutting factor. Also great scissors.

The gold standard is still the 91mm Vic but as Lynn said, they can get jacked up easily if you use them on harder stuff and require occasional sharpening. Not difficult to do though.

It's regrettable that Wenger has been left out of the poll.
