Those look great. :tu:

I'm still kicking myself for forgetting to bid on a 1940 Wenger that went for 25,50 Euro last month.

Yep have to say that was a good buy if you look at the acceptance marks on the scale it has the normal  WK mark plus 2 additional stamps and  that is very rare.

My almost complete run of alox soldiers from 1962 to 2008.
Most are in new shape with everything after 1976 being new in box.
Will post some more photos soon.

Wow quite a set !!  8)
How come the 71 one is red - I thought red ones stopped in 66.
And can you tell us please what is the black one at the end.

Also interested ....
Wengers?/Viccies?/ Or roughly what percentage of each.
Also if they are pretty much all NIB since 76 - How did you do that??  ???
Have you been collecting them since then and bought one each year??

Thanks  :)

The red Elsener 71 was a rare find new in box.
I've seen red alox soldiers all the way until 1978.
The black soldier was sold in Swiss Railway stores in the 1980's I believe.
A very rare knife now and I have two of them.
They are all Elsener and Victorinox soldiers with one exception being a 1972 Wenger as I don't think Victorinox made one that year.   The same applies for 1974 which I still need to find.
I've been collecting the alox soldier for a few years now.
I just bought any that I found and then started trading with other collectors.
I was then offered a very large collection of alox which had quite a lot of brand new soldiers included.
Most of the fun was finding them and slowly replacing any used ones with a new example when possible.

Since I was born it that year, let me know if you ever plan to sell it...  :D :gimme:

You guys always surprise me... when I think I have too many saks... or spent too much money on it...
I always feel a relief to know that I am not the only Sak-crazy addicted...  ;)

Don't know which is worse on the eyes: Jaydar's Soldiers or Syph's 'Extra Blades'.

That's nuts - And this was when it was not out of hand ?? :o

Did a rough quick tally and there seem to be at least 150
So not just collecting one per year then??  Or even one from each manufacturer per year

And that's a year and a half old pic. I think for the current one Jaydar would need a ladder to stand on to get them in frame. :D

Great looking pics, guys. :hatsoff:

@Huntsman    179 of them.
