Yup he is right. However just go to a scuba shop and get some Silicone greese for o rings that stuff will last a lifetime and not gum up on you.
The L1T v2.0 isn't a twisty though. It has a forward clicky switch on it. The high and low modes are selected by twisting the head.

You will want to use NiMH rechargeable or lithium batteries in that light if you have them. An alkaline will deplete VERY quickly in high mode.
