Any love for the SOG Fielder?
on: January 25, 2014, 10:30:40 PM
I think these knives are a little bit underrated. The steel isn't anything special but these knives are very solid, well put together, good looking(at least in my eyes), and very well priced. The 3.5" wood handled Fielder was my first decent folder which taught me how to sharpen blades as well as sparked my interest in the different types of steel. For it's low price (20 USD when I bought it, now 24.99 at Bass Pro) I think this is a great little knife.

Never used one. I have used the Flashes and the Vulcan. They are pretty sweet knives.

I have one, it's a decent knife.  It opens quick and looks pretty nice.  You can get them on ebay less than $20.

They're... nice enough.  I just don't find them terribly interesting.

Better than Kershaw's see of black/grey in their Chinese made lines, though.
