How about using my Crosscut to open a key fob for our SUV?

That's all today.

Althought, usually, it gets to open at least one piece of mail also.

On any given day, the Crosscut may do one or two things. It's that I've carried one for nearly 15 years when it starts to seem like an impressive tool. Sorry to disappoint

Used my Powerlock today to repair and refit a loose backrest on my wooden computer chair. It went well and involved filling the old overlarge holes in the  backrest etc. The job went well and I don't fall off when I lean back now  :D Implements used were chisel ground combo edge blade, large flat driver and awl. They worked well and were more than up to the job. Biggest surprise was the CE blade which was plenty sharp and very good for scraping and trimming.

I suppose that could happen with any make, except perhaps a Vic Swisstool

It was very disappointing. That's when I learned that some SOG products were nothing more than over-priced junk. I've forgiven LM for their short comings but can't seem to give SOG a break.

To be honest, I'd be a little wary of putting too much pressure on any needle nosed pliers whatever the make. Ref. the Swisstool, I can remember bending a stout tab of metal with one and I didn't think twice about it  :)

Not me. I put my SOGs though hell. So far, no problems. But then I live by the motto of "if its not broke, your not trying hard enough."
Hope I don't break any them, but I have broken all kinds of stuff from Vics to LMs.

My Crosscut and I poked around inside my dashboard for a switch that doesn't seem to exist.

I'm going to be honest ins saying this is one of the few times I'd wished it had a phillips, as I had to jump to a Leatherman Squirt PS4 for some of the tasks. Luckily, I had both at hand.

I don't think I've ever really used my PPP, but I don't carry it much either...just some evenings at home.  However, it does serve as a high level of fiddle factor for me.  I love just opening and closing the handles due to the smooth action of it :tu:

Used my PowerLock to tighten the hardware on a toilet. I didn't want to use any of my good multi's in such an environment...

Got a few paratools, keep one under the seat of my motorcycle.....it has saved me once or twice now out on the road when a chain slips or something.

Use the philips, big screw driver, woodsaw, file, and pliers on my BO PowerLock to do a few odd jobs at work. Use my Vulcan to cut some vinyl hose.

Used the bit adapter for a few screws.

Then later had a big water break at work. Used the Vulcan to cut back the insulation on the water lines. Used the Powerlock for countless small task from turning bolts to busting apart ceiling tile. Use the hell out of my light too. Sorry I didn't get any pics. We had to kill the main and work fast because of the boilers and the fire system. That and all the people and reseachers in the building where getting mad.
