I too love these type videos.  I enjoy watching tools and equipment being restored and given new life.

Just as I was starting to think about what I should have for lunch I saw a big sign on a restaurant on the other side of the road.  The sign said: "Try Our Famous Fried Shrimp!"  So, I drove up to the next intersection, made a U turn, and crossed three lanes of traffic to get to the place. They were crowded, but I found a parking space and went in.  The waitress seated me, I ordered an iced tea and said I'll try the famous fried shrimp.

The waitress tells me,  "We're out of shrimp today."

Went to cook dinner tonight and found that the house sitter had scrubbed clean my cast iron pan and left it to rust for a few weeks.   :ashley:
:dwts:

I cook, and my wife does the dishes.  Well, except for my cast iron pans. ;)

I open soup cans with my Swisstool's can opener eventhough there is a lid on the can so you can open it without any tools

I have done that too. Just flipped it upside down so I could use the opener on my EDC :D

I use the tab on the lid to open cans smoothly.

When the cans are empty, I wash them and then use the Vic can opener on the bottom of the can for practice...

Nothing wrong with that  :tu:.  I only open cans with my Vic.  I have one of those can opener that opens the can on the outside which does away with the sharp edges.  I prefer using my Vic tho and am pretty good with it now.

I made a batch of my homemade pasta sauce the other day, opened the bottom of the tomato paste can with  a manual opener, and then the top with the pull tab... this allows me to push the paste out easily and cleanly.

Now that I think about it, Id say we are a part of a very small group of people that 99,999% of the worlds population think are completely bonkers. :D
