Simple Camera for Seniors suggestions
on: February 09, 2014, 01:12:01 AM
Hello everyone I am looking for a simple camera for my mother in law.
All she wants to do is take a picture and then have it printed out. No zoom, no fiddling with  buttons just take a picture.

Anyone have any suggestions?
I like bowls, they contain chaos.

How about a phone with a camera?

All known brands have decent cameras, though they will have a zoom, in general.

Canon, Nicon, Fuji etc.

Most will also have full auto mode where you just press and take pictures, with very little input from the user.

Better cameras will have better Auto modes and will also take better indoor pictures.

All cameras are as simple or complex as you want them to be. Even the most expensive DSLR has a green point and shoot mode.

I would just get her a simple inexpensive camera. Good luck trying to find one without a zoom though as I think the majority of them come with this feature these days. Your best bet would be to go to a big box store that sells cameras and select one you think is the easiest to use.

Now I found this interesting little simple thing. These photos are they going to the printers or are they only for online. If only online, this camera's resolution should be good enough. I post most of my photos at 800x600, and this camera is capable of higher. Very simple to use, but the resolution is on the meager side for printing hardcopies.
