In silico might help you with the long waiting but having the Skinth at hand and trying different combinations in vivo is even more fun.

I'm not even 3 weeks into the wait yet. And already I am  in agony!!! This really is  self inflicted torture. I hate that I do this to myself all the time. I guess I am a glutton for punishment. But then again I've been waiting on a Wilder Forge custom knife for 2 months and it's looking like late summer before it's ready. All these guys who make all this kickass custom gear need to get better at reading our minds and knowing in advance exactly what we want. That way they can have it in stock and we can get a little more instant gratification. C'mon @metro you gotta tighten up on those ESP skills. :)

Could you please take another side photo where you are wearing a different color pants? It's hard to distinguish between your legs and the skinth. I have a catchall coming in the next few weeks and I'm curious as to how well it carries on the hip. Thank you in advance!:) Your load out is impressive.

I exaggerated here. The Skinth has ALL it's usual content plus the Endura plus a Surge in place of the Charge (that moved in the front). That's 2.1 kgr!!!
You can see the belt bends under the weight. But it doesn't look big at all and a sane load would be half of it with one Multi and one smaller SAK instead of 3 Multies and an XLT plus both LM and regular bits and adapters.

Normal load is 1.6kgr and I never wear it on my belt. That was an experiment.

Awesome thank you very much that is very helpful. As it is right now I carry 2 MT's and a light on my belt. Each in there own sheath. So I am looking to consolidate and was hoping that my catchall wasn't going to be too terribly huge. But yours look perfect. Thanks again for sharing the pics.

No, it's not huge. Leather tool holders are much bigger and "banana" type bags that used to be fashionable a decade ago bigger also. But since we feed Skinths with stainless steel they can become really heavy. Keep it under 1kgr or 2 pounds and you'll be OK. I overloaded it because I have perfected a 3 bag system to carry it and I'm not a worker that needs the tools in the ready position. I just take out the Skinth and do the job when I need to.

kkokkolis, might I suggest a belt designed for carrying a firearm. More specifically one of the reinforced shooting belts. They are specifically designed not to bend or droop under weight like yours is. Just a thought.   :salute:

Peak LED Solutions Eiger

AAA.

Peaks are the most customizable production lights on the market.  A choice of 9 power levels or QTC for variable output, three materials (HA, SS, Brass), several body types (pocket, lug, keychain, 2xAAA), mechanical momentary switch....  it goes on and on--enough to make your head spin.

Peaks are the only remaining lights that are built on the older, simple twisty platform like the ARC AAA, the CMG Infinity, etc.  They are extremely durable.  They are well-regulated for good runtime on a variety of cells (alk, NiMH, Li-Ion) and have an excellent beam profile that is typically floody; especially with the medium optic.  This makes them ideal to use as a close to medium-range headlamp when clipped to the brim of a hat/cap.

I like them!  :tu:  My Eigers are probably my most-used lights due to their versatility.

Welcome to the forum. :waving:

And FYI, the M7 was actually designed exactly one year ago to celebrate the Multitool.org 7th anniversary, hence M7. ;)

Ordered a Skinth XL on July 3rd. Can't wait to get it. Sent some questions in about potentially upgrading to a Magnum and switching to orange thread and MOLLE back, but even if that won't be doable, very excited to get my first Skinth. Already eyeing an M7 and CatchAll for next time.

You should be pretty stoked once you get it.  Welcome to MTo.  I am still going with my same set up and it has worked out great for me.  I don't see myself changing it any time soon.  Set aside some time when you get your Skinth for setting it up over and over again  :D.  Take plenty of pictures when you get it.

Huh, those pics are better than I expected...

Okay, the Skinth OG I have has closed in the bottom sidetubes, knife/pen straps on the front, and pentapocket organization. And of course, a belt clip instead of a loop (that's probably my favourite feature)

Here it's holding:

- In the main compartment, a LM Wave with a neon green lanyard, pocket clipped to the sheath so it doesn't sink too deep (yes, it's a bit too deep, but that makes it fit an MP600 (BN) as well.
- In the knife straps, a SRM 710 in SS
- In the left side tube, a Vic Tinker small (84mm, two layers cellidor)
- In the right side tube, an EagleTax D25CM titanium limited edition CR123 flashlight.
- In the front flat pocket, a single LM bitcard with my most used bits
- In the right side penta pocket, a pair of tweezers.

I still have three penta-pockets left, (the front one is divided into two) and feel like I could probably fit in a PWII somewhere as well.

So there you have it, hope it was helpful :)

That's bloody perfect Tom, thank you!!  Now.... Do I need the little extra space the Plus provides...   I'd either be carrying my TTi, ST200 or BN MP600 in it.  Or my MUT without the pocket clip, if it would fit.
