You bet. Housatonic River and part of the Appalachian trail. Only a few miles from my house. Go there almost every day.

Sorry Kent K

But I am going to have to seize that Farmer from you.

You are in clear violation of the law, for the trail you were traveling on is state property
and therefore you were destorying property of the state.

I will send you my home address and I expect you to mail that Farmer to me in a timely manner.

Thank you for your assistance.     Swiss Man  :D

Now that I am famous and Mickey D said that fortune would follow I can say that I never thought it would be so easy. He is always right. Right?

The Farmer is just that much sturdier than the 91mm models and I like the resemblance to the Soldier model with the added feature of the saw. Correct me if I am wrong But I think the SAK Soldier was the model for all those junky Boy Scout knives I remember. The rest of the colors are great too, but I need more time to justify getting another knife with only a different color when there are so many other interesting SAKS. Especially a vintage Soldier.

Great photos. To be fair, you had a very photogenic model...

I wanted a silver Farmer as well (naturally, because of its resemblance to the Soldier), but since I plan on EDCing it, decided to go with something a bit less menacing. While my Juice S2 is seen as a toy in even the strictest of settings (used the scissors to cut paper and duct tape for labeling inside a genetics lab), there's just no telling how people react to a SAK. So at least it's going to be all red and girly...

Also, red makes me drool.  :gimme:

I certainly did have a great model.Hard to take a bad pic. I was going to take the pictures inside, but I had a camera with me and what better spot than in the right environment for the knife.

Read the horror story in your link. I am lucky that I live in a state (Connecticut) where public officials still have common sense. Maybe that has something to do with a very low crime rate and being the wealthiest state in the country. The most dangerous thing here is when people make believe twisty roads are straight.

how people react to a SAK.
And the gov't wonders why people are becoming more and more anti-government. What in the hell happened to common sense. It's obvious that this guy was not planning a school yard massacre. It was a friggin SAK and it was IN HIS CAR!!!!!

Looks like what happened is that the good people of Georgia voted a bunch of a**holes into the legislature that enacted this idiotic law.

Common sense has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Regulations must be followed to the letter!

Of course it's no more a Farmer than it is a Huntsman, but either way, I like it! :D

More or less- the Hunstman is a 4 layer, 91mm Cellidor model, while the Farmer is a three layer 93mm ALOX model.  That means the Farmer is somewhat thinner and a fractional bit longer.
