S&W M-100's are the best- mine are in the black finish for low viz at work, but I've always preferred them over Peerless and Hiatts, which are the other common brands around here.  My work tool changes from week to week, depending on what I feel like carrying, but the Smittys and the Gerber Infinity Ultra flashlight are always with me.  I prefer the Gerber IU over other, brighter lights as most of it's use is close up stuff in the dark, and if I use anything brighter I'll blind myself while checking ID's.

The S&W M 100 is the best cuffs I have used, the cuffs we are given by Securitas are some cheap pies of crap made in Spain. Everybody I work with use S&W. We all have bought the S&W cuffs with our own moony.

Yup- I own all my own equipment too.  I don't trust "company" equipment, as you never know who had it before you, and how well they maintained it.

The company handcuffs were brand new, right out of the box. You could se right away that the craftsmanship was poor, the universal key didn’t even fit in the S&W. The Spanish cuffs were a pain to cuff someone and be cuffed, I opened the box, took them out, looked at them for some seconds and gave them back, telling them I would newer use that peace of junk. My boss have about 50 brand new, newer been used handcuffs in his office. They also gave us AA Maglights that I gave back right away, the TC3 is a far more superior light.

Maybe over a Mini Mag, but it's hard to beat Wilma!

I have to find some nice brackets to attach her inside the tub of my new Jeep...  :D

OK. Here are som pics of the Nying. The handle is made out of Birch and is very comfortable to hold. The blade is 7 cm and is very nice too do small jobs. I love this little fellow and has com very handy when I need something that don’t require a big blade or the MT becomes too awkward too use

That really does look like a good user, especially with winter gloves on :)
Give in, buy several Farmer's!!!!!!

Or, at least, there's not much that can beat the beating she gives!  :P

Security Guards around here are lucky if they get a radio, let alone a maglight or cuffs.

(To be fair, Guards around here are lucky if they speak intelligible English)

I don't have the program for it  I just bought one because I knew I'd use it. It's kinda specialized, as its made to fit 1/2" hex, 3/4" hex, 3/8" square, and 1/2" square.

The lockback box cutter is one of my favorite things. Seriously. I'm *almost* sad to say its the reason I don't carry my Gerber folder as often as I used to. Why? It's always sharp, the blade is easily replaceable, it folds, it feels much sturdier than a sliding utility knife, and for "tip" jobs it sure saves your knife. I can use it for nasty/dirty jobs without guilt, and keep my knives razor sharp.
