I think they will be in the next newsletter and should available on the website soon.

Which website would that be. Sorry but I have never bought from him before and was just trying to get the specifics.

I don't like these at all...total waste of rare resources

A good use of the marlin spike/sacking needle would be...
Main Blade, metal file, woodsaw, marlin spike/sacking needle, utility blade and large driver/bottle opener 8)

Just my humble opinion :D

+B moved from Switzerland to the US a few years ago ;)
I don't know about tax/shipping but you can sign up for his newsletter without committing to buy...that's how you find out about new releases :tu:

I believe someone said the sacking needle is back in production, so maybe not such a scarse resource anymore?

I am not a fan of the two bladed SAK's.  I don't understand the need/purpose. ???

I do like Marlinspikes, but I prefer the awl for my needs. :(

+1

But if one of them were serrated maybe.

Since +B does "factory mods", I think a 4 layer factory model would be excellent. Possibly pair a Technician SD and either a pruner or electrician blade between the opener layer and saw for a Farmer Plus or sthg...

On the other hand one of the modders here could make something like that, fairly easily even, except maybe the rarity of the small SD, a good condition Technician donor would make for a pricey mod in the current market. :)

Just grind an old can opener.  I am hoping to snag a marlin spike to introduce tools that I use to it.

Weird tool and color choice. :-\ Doubt it would survive as a standard production model. He had much better ideas.

lol, Rick, working on my still amateurish grinding skills. I might be able to make an icepick out of that marlinspike, but it would be rough!

@Captain, shipping from the US site starts at over $10 no matter the item. One pair of scales is the price of the scales...plus $10. You might be better off using the Canadian site. Plus general consensus is Roger is a D bag.

I'm not a fan of these or any "special edition" Alox. They are overpriced collectors items.
If it ain't getting used it has no value.

Paradise for modders... Personally dislike the colors and I'm really sad that no 84mm was made this time. I'd buy some 84mm, even in these weird shades...

I agree, why waste the space duplicating when there are so many other neat tools you could use?

I like them. Probably not gonna buy one. I love the two blades. Kinda like a muskrat. When one blade dulls, you still have a sharp one.

When you are limited to factory tools and not able to mix and match from other sized tools, your creativity is limited.  I think openers on any SAK should be standard.  The only other area of creativity left is color and I applaud them for bringing us this super sexy combo!!
