Ya got my envy juices flowing. I think a 1911 looks best when the slide is clean ( no billboard ). That Razorback is fantastic. Got a couple 10mm myself, but nothing as nice as that. The normal Glock 20 & a Ruger SR1911 in 10mm. Let a really nice STI Nitro 10 slip through my fingers last year, and I'm still kicking myself for it. Used gun, I offered a grand & the seller wanted $1100. Both too stubborn to budge.

This pocket dump isn't quite genuine. I do not carry this 1911. Just a tad too heavy for me. At least, I avoided the missing MT blunder this time

That Ruger is sweet!  I would like to get a GP-100 Match Champion in 10mm, to go with my Lew Horton S&W 610 pictured below. Perfect revolver for back-country treks, or hog-bustin'. The S&W 625 in .45 ACP is another favorite. Sorry to derail this thread.  But, handguns are a large-part of EDC in America today.

You're correct about thread hijack. Starting to get a little off track. Sure like seeing nicer firearms though. An awful lot of people here have country flags next to their username, that indicate they cannot enjoy that particular freedom. I'm truly sorry for them. Nice seeing that S&W without the stupid lock. You must either be single, or have pockets so deep your spouse doesn't care what you spend  I remember when I brought the G20 home. We were planning a week in Big Bend. Told her I wanted it just in case for black bear or mountain lion. She gives me the stink eye & says "All those guns in that safe, and nothing will work for that? What about the Freedom Arms 454 I got you for your birthday?" Had to explain that a 5 shot single action revolver was more for stalking & hunting. Not so much for a defensive purpose. I kept getting good humored crap from her, until we got to Big Bend. Then started seeing all these signs posted about the bears and lions and what to do should one threaten. Then she said she was glad I had the Glock.

I'm trying to carry it for a couple of days now. But to be honest… It's so heavy. I don't use the saw, don't use the pliers and actually miss my toothpick. Hell no, I'm missing my Explorer.

Hey Serena.  Would you consider sheath carry for your Wave?  Maybe it might be best suited for bag carry?  Also who say you cannot ALSO carry your Explorer

Yep, it's going back into the little EDC pouch which sits in my purse.

I get that. It can feel heavy to me sometimes, especially if I don't find a lot of the features particularly useful that day. But, most days, I use most features. I just carry an Explorer with my MTs.  :ahhh

The Wave does seem like it would be an excellent purse tool for sure. But, if I could get away with carrying a purse, it would be loaded down with power tools.

would you mind if I ask what you do for a living?

Have you considered something like this?

You can set it up how you like with a pocket clip and all locking blades.

Cheers,
H.G.

Work jeans, with everything in its' place. Work pants size is 36x29 relaxed fit cheap Rustlers.
Held with thick leather belt and work-suspenders. The suspenders ride under my work shirt(so they are not visible) with an undershirt to keep the suspender straps from cutting into me.

Here is everything in/on the jeans put away.

The front right pocket contents(knife and measure clipped inside when stowed).

Back pockets contents.

Shirt pocket with stuff in.

Shirt pocket contents. Yes, I know smoking is stupid, but I do it.

The only item I would add to your line-up GLBM is a Blue Alpha hybrid EDC belt with an Austrian/Alpine quick-release buckle.  You seem to have every-other contingency covered.  :D

Thank you for the recommendation, eTrip!

That belt does look to be a worthy replacement for when my Navy-surplus belt with stainless buckle goes bad. :)
The double nylon layers would distribute the weight better as well. :)

Thanks, Aloha. Close, but a small bag didn't work as well as I had hoped. Now I have a cart that I can roll project to project for minor-moderate repairs, when the MT won't be enough for a repair.  :multi: :)

However, because of the need for a massive amount of tools for large restorations, I have a 20'x11' room just for tools to do my work, with adjacent room of the same size to work in.

MTs and belt gear save me hundreds of 50'-150' walks to the tool room everyday, when the issues can be handled with what I have on me.  :ahhh

I had not seen that belt before. I like it & will have to pick one up. Here's one I don't wear any longer, because I got too fat. The leather is cheap, so I might have another made larger & with better leather. The buckle has use.
