Any news on the pocketwatch? I seem to recall you saying you dropped it or something like it. Managed to save it?

No go on the watch. They will fix and replace the internals, but not the case or glass. So my pocket watch is done and just setting in my desk.

Very sorry to hear that. Have you tried some watch forums like forums.watchuseek.com? Maybe someone there might help you out with advice or contact info.

I did check out a couple of avenues, but the cost are out weighing the cost of the watch.
I have been checking out some wrist watches. I'm in no big hurry. Who knows, might run across a deal to fix my pocket watch.

I've been wanting a pair if those...

I've got a few Carhartt Duck jackets and they are all perfect even after a few years of laying on the ground and numerous hours in transmission fluid.

They are so expensive though!!

I have a Carhart jacket that I use to use before I came back in the Army.

It is from when I was a framing carpenter in the late 90's and it is still going strong. Very faded but not one hole and the zipper is working fine.

Went to a wedding yesterday, which required an adjustment from my usual carry as I don't often wear suits. The main thing I didn't want was the bulk of a keyring in the dress pants pocket. Since my wife has house keys in her purse, I easily left those at home.

Gerber Dime, Thrunite Ti3, Wenger SI, CRKT Swindle, Fossil Arkitekt FS-4315, leather wallet, iPhone 4. The only thing missing from the pic is the car key.

Dude I am over carhartt jackets after wearing them for many years, ever since I found these at a local mercantile. I have the Sherpa lined one, and paid 60$.http://www.berneouterwear.com/coats.html

Definetly adding those to my summer purchase lists!

I also want an Outback Trading Company jacket.

They are 100% cotton and a full oilskin  outer shell.

My hunting partner found them for 40 bucks on black Friday and I'm never gonna let him forget to buy me one ever again!!!
