Stormdrane, I had a 9V light just like that (but with a glow in the dark housing). I loved that light. Not sure where it is now. But the minimal design is great.

However, that light once got a long hard look at a baggage check in an airport. The TSA agent was very curious about why a traveler would have a 9V battery carried attached to a small bit of electrical equipment. I think he thought it might be a possible power source for a bomb or something. A few minutes explanation got me through, but there was a moment where I thought fear and ignorance might cost me a cool little light.

I'm not sure where it has gotten to now...... :think:

One of the great things about this design is that you can turn it on and stand it up on it's rectangular bottom to use as a small lantern.


I was just looking for mine and can't find it. Must be in some kit or drawer somewhere....... :(

They're neat little things aren't they?  The only problem I have with mine is that I keep stealing the battery to sort out a smoke detector or whatever. :doh:  Must get another battery and pop it in the car.

  Probably won't win a popularity contest. ;) Was a late night, went for a ride. ~ Had adopted a dual coin container to stick coins in one side, pain meds in the other compartment. Seems I have followers now, as one fellow uses a coin thing to carry his diabetic meds in now too. Still rockin' ol Smurfit Flair. :D And the pen/light is a Nite-Ize pen & stylus combo.
