Latest Spirit

well some of you may have read my post about a new Spirit coming out with Scissors and a pointy blade in place of the Serrated blunt tip knife . This is not to be confused with the Spirit S .

I emailed Mr R Elsener of Victorinox asking for some info on it and he replied to me today .
  I would like to say a big thankyou to him . You never know he may read this forum

Dear Mr Moore,


thank you very much for your request dated May 28, 2008 and being interested in our products. We are pleased to send you the photo of our model «SwissTool Spirit 3.0224».

 

The production of this model has started now and we are planning to sell it in Switzerland in July 2008. In other European countries the start will be sometime in the second half of this year depending on the availability and the representative.
 

If there is any further information that you require do not hesitate to contact us.

That's sod's law for ya , but it's fairly easy to mod the blade into something more usefull (lambsfoot in my case)

If they come with a black oxide finish in the scissors that will be the perfect tool to EDC.

Wowsers!  That must be the most beautiful multi ever produced - bar none!

I've never bought a Spirit because I was really put off it by the 'peanut-butter-spreader' combo blade.

I'll have to get one these new ones for sure.

Very nice Dunc, scissors , file, saw & no butter Knife.X1 more to the list . I wonder when it will be released on the US market=ebay. If someone sees it for a half decent price please let us know
