What did you just get?

Ever since I saw these here on the forum, I knew that I needed one.  Lot of folks said to keep my eye out on the eBay, but I got a PM from McStitchy saying that he'd send one my way.

Well, after traveling across the ocean it arrived here on the left side yesterday.
Even had call to use it this morning to tighten a bolt on my wheelchair.

The kid and I made our first attempt at 3D printing, at first it didn’t even stick and looked like spaghetti, so we changed a few things and then it started to work, needless to say it only worked for half the print, cause we had to turn it off because it was just moving around everywhere, here’s what we kinda made, suppose to be a ghost ship, we then found out that the printer didn’t even turn on, it was as if it was just wiped clean, so the kid tried reprogramming it, and it worked so he started printing something else but as I was sitting there watching it print the base it just stopped with the nozzle in the middle and the screen on the printer had a few numbers kinda crooked,, guess we’ll just have to keep at it till we get somewhere, cause I would love to build a bridge lamp,,

Yes the Imperial is a single blade. 

Not bad for a trial run MadP.  I'm sure with some tinkering you will get it going.

Idk, the 3rd attempt turned out even worse when it just stopped and the screen even looked funky with a few numbers split.. I really want this thing to get going cause I want to print a few things including that bridge light!

I used the Surge to open the super annoying packaging on my new Prybrid. I use an utility knife every day for work, excited to test this one out (Despite its somewhat negative feedback)

I like mine a lot, my only real criticism is the battery runs down when not in use seemingly quicker than other lights, although could be my imagination

Now that looks interesting, my baseball cap has lights built right in the brim, nothing super bright but just enough to let you see what your doing, a few times I’ve used it while out taking a walk with the Mrs, we’d come to a part on the sidewalk where we knew there was a out of alignment block and the street lights didn’t light up the sidewalk, so just flip the switch and there you have it, now don’t trip! Lol..

Definitely want to avoid those out of alignment bricks

Thanks for the heads up.  I have a Bandicoot that I love and use constantly, so I thought I would step up to the Bilby.  I find the knog headlamps really comfortable and I love the ability to set the modes.

Oh geez,
Look I know we all love those legos the kids leave on the floor and you can’t scream or else you wake them so you have to wait till you get out of their room! I’ve done it countless time, but the worst for me was when I left their room and since I backed out of their room and it was only a very small single wide, that we were in the middle of remodeling, I backed out and turned around in pitch black and accidentally kicked the furnace, dead smack on the corner! My pinky and next toe were black within minutes! And as poor as that place was insulated I placed my finger in my mouth and bit down crying, all to not wake the kids! I limped back to our room and the Mrs asks “what’s wrong” I showed her my finger, she’s like “ouch, and that’s why you’re limping”? No then I lifted my foot onto the bed and she then screamed! Lol.
Here this is what I use, a very simple ball cap, looks normal, you’d never know, that is until you hit the button, I added a few extra pics to explain how it works, there great, mine doesn’t look new like this anymore, I’ve covered it with pvc patches unlike before where my old one was pins, another danger! Especially for someone who shaves their head! But ouch on the leg, hope it heals fast!

I like mine, for what it is.
I don't use it every day, but I usually keep it in my carpenters pants/work pants that I use for more involved projects and tasks around the house. It's not very refined, but very solid and saves my other tools from undue harm.



For what I paid, I really can't complain, but if I'm being nitpicky I would like a pocket clip and a little more reach for the prybar. The G10 slab is quite thick and goes almost all the way down to where the pry head starts to curve so this noticeably limits the minimum "angle of attack". Otherwise I think it's a perfectly fine, pocket friendly, hard use prybar.
