Holy crap what a tank! I have a pencil kinda like that but the lead it hold is like over a 1/4” thick, maybe you need one of those fidget cubes, we actual bought the kid one, it only lasted maybe a month though, I’ve asked him for it a few time since he doesn’t use it that and because the battery slide on the bedroom remote is just about to fall off, the little piece that keeps tension on it is so warn thin it barely keeps it closed, that and the plastic is getting smooth, yet the one in the living room is the identical remote, but since the wife sits on the opposite side and the remote is on my right vs left I don’t attack it,, it’s like new..

Ice! And lots of it! We had three branches come down, one that is still on the roof, and another that broke and it’s still up in the tree, one smashed down on the road and someone moved it over to the other side of the road, but you can see where it landed because of what it left, another landed on the fence splitting in three, breaking one part on the side, one part in the front, and one part on the sidewalk, yet another came down on the sidewalk, and a small one came down in the backyard, here’s a few pics of the ice, you can see it all over the power lines, the kids car is covered, luckily dad was smart and lifted his wipers for him, although everything’s melting, so all the ice is breaking off and bombing the roof and backyard, coming off the tree and power lines, earlier I could have taken the grill cover off and probably stood it up to make it look as if I had two grills.. look at the table, all ice.. that’s what we got!

Just got me a custom order of mini notebooks, as dumb as this is, yeah I could have got those other ones like field notes, but they aren’t the right size, I have a custom leather cover that my wife bought me that fits a mini composition notebook, but I wanted dot graph pages, and well I could not find it so I found someone willing to make it, and cheap, so I just ordered a few books..

Thank you Sos24 for the Sasquatch patch! I’ll have to take a pic of it when it’s on the jean jacket, I had to toss it off the table in order to have dinner the other day so I have to reorganize the patches, but it will go on the upper right shoulder so I have to keep looking over my shoulder to see if I have a Sasquatch following me! :ahhh

OMG I got internet! :woohoo: 6 freaking day without internet and tv! OMG it just came back on, I can’t believe it my clock works, all my lights can be turned on by just asking and not reaching to all 7 plugs!  :woohoo:
On another note, literally I got my custom notebooks in today, mini composition size dot graph pages! Fit nicely in my custom leather cover my sweaty bought me for Xmas loooong ago, she had it stamped with my initials on the front, but also snuck on a little something on the inside, something that only us old farts might know of from back in the beeper days :whistle:

Bought it a month ago, finally had enough snow to use it. Turned 45 to 1hr of shoveling to 20mins of upper workout pushing.

Also ordered a 10pack of derma safe little blades to keep in misc packs. I always have a blade near by but for the size  (basically a Classic), Id give em a try. So good so far.

Passed by a Decathlon store and got this Solognac Axis 75 for €10. The number refers to blade length. There's awlso a 85 model (don't know if more than these).

Pretty solid lockup, no blade play, very sharp. The frame lock is pretty thick and engages well with the blade. Very good for EDC, nothing you'd be affraid to abuse, for the price.

Close to a Compact, for scale.

Not a tool I would use but more look at. Where I live there are a hardware store that has been around for 111 years and has been run by the same family the whole time. But I saw an ad about a week ago that they are closing and they would sell everything with discount starting Wednesday this week. I had previously been in there trying to buy a victorinox display knife but at the time they didn't want to sell it. The reason I was in there asking about it was that they had removed it from the window and I gave it a shot if they wasn't using it anymore

I grew up looking at this huge knife always wanted one of my own and now when they where closing down I asked them again and gave a bid. They said they would think about it and today they called me up and said ok. After talking to them for a bit I don't think it was any problem selling it other than finding where they had put it

It's working as it should. Now I just have to convince my wife where it should sit in the house
