Yes! The local Victorinox service centre replaced my Tinker's scales for free under warranty. Unfortunately they ran out of 84mm scales for my Bantam. I'll try again in November.

The small ones I won in an auction lot also arrived today: Classic Zodiac, Yellow Classic, Mtech grenade and Richartz classic clone... Was actually impressed with the Richartz... Tools look like they were made by Vic...

Was at Wally World today and we were in the pet section and I asked the Mrs if we could go over to the sewing section, I just wanted to see if there was anything interesting to make hankies, and well I ended up getting a marvel package, and she chose both a superman and batman with a plain matching backside, so I guess I ended up getting a liiiittle more then I expected.. heck even the cat got a little more as he's going nutty with a new toy(yes has catnip) lol

I had a pair of sunglasses that had a mini mirror on the inside, and when you wanted to see what was behind you, you just looked in the upper corner and there you had it. I've soooo wanted another pair but I never could find them. Now I've found little add on's, you just stick a mirror to the inside of your glasses but mine are special and have leather side shields to keep as much light out not only because my eyes are sensitive but also because of my seizures. So I got thinking, there's some others that use a coat hanger a mini mirror and a bottle cap and attach them to glasses but was like cool but ahh, so I remembered I had a dental mirror, perfect, then looked around for something to use to attach, so after a day I found an old clip that was for a keychain flashlight I think, made little holes to slide the mirror through, bent it to the right angles and said hmm, I think it works, the wife thought I was nutty, but then thought if I painted it black it wouldn't be all shiny on the other side and it wouldn't stick out so bad, and here you have it..

  I soo wish I did this yesterday this way I could have used it today, I just soooo hate it as me and the wife are just walking ever so peacefully down the sidewalk and then zooooom, someone comes from behind on a bike scarring the crap out of us!

My wife told me to stop and get cream on my way home; well I got a little sidetracked in the store cuz of a crazy clearance
The OHT was $19,  the Skeletool $13 and the Mini Sharp $2
I made a note of what was left I'm hoping to go back and snag some more. Funny thing is I saw this clearance a week ago when the prices were double what they are now (still 1/2 off reg) and the case looked untouched tonight

A second round and I can call Christmas shopping done. (What doesn't end up in my collection that is :whistle: )

Although truth be told I've been kind of curtailing my knife shopping lately so I am not sure if I will
That Reaper was tempting but I LOVE carrying both the Glock81 and my RCF Combat so I am not sure if another field knife is in order.
