Munchpak came in! Once a month we get a collection of snack foods from around the world, so we all gather around and try them, I had just ate a sweet and sour gummy worm, and it was an apple / lemon, now don’t get me wrong I like gummy worms but that was SOUR! Wow! But well worth getting everyone together for the 20min!

Once a month we get a collection of snack foods from around the world, so we all gather around and try them, I had just ate a sweet and sour gummy worm, and it was an apple / lemon, now don’t get me wrong I like gummy worms but that was SOUR! Wow! But well worth getting everyone together for the 20min!

The new sunflower seed spittoon came in, with spring now here and maybe warmer weather around the corner :shrug: , I’ll be grabbing the seeds, especially now that we can have cookouts and sit by a fire pit to relax! Or since I got to now mow the lawn, but that doesn’t require a spittoon, just something to hold the seeds.
Anyway, I have one similar but a little smaller, it’s a dual sided bottle/container, you can even put liquid in one side unlike my older one, not what I need it for but who knows maybe for a night at the fire pit, seeds in one side and a drink in the other? Nice size, not small and not monster size like the one I almost got, one of those two sided weight lifters bottles, I think there like 32oz, (16x2), this is only 16oz, (8x2). The only thing I’m not to fond of is the material, it’s a hard plastic which means easy crack, they used to make one that was I think a more resin which means drop it on concrete and bounce but the only one I could find was on eBay for 5 times the price! Oh and this has a loop on the one side, I’ll have to see what to do, maybe put a carabiner on it, but again maybe a easy break, maybe tap the pin out and put something paracord in place? Anyway that’s whats new.. here’s some pics,,

I can understand this sentiment and recall feeling the same after I got my 1st one too but......

I have a pretty good assortment of knives here and there is something special about the Reeves that defies easy explanations even to myself!

I mostly appreciate them sitting at the computer reading while I slowly open and close the knife with one hand and I have no others that feel like both of my Reeves do while doing this?
After taking the bigger one apart and reassembling it is even better than before and the tolerances that they are machined to seem just finer than other knives that I have worked with,it is not too subtle either to me.
Yet they are really tough too.

But rest assured that if you want to they are usually really easy to sell and move on if thats what you want too.

Mine have certainly grown on me.

Oh, it's definitely a keeper and I'm very happy with it.  But I need to remember that stuff isn't that fulfilling.

I took it apart last night, gave it a clean, greased it up and tweaked the action a bit.  It's easier to use now, and I'm getting the hang of where to hold it to open and close it effectively.
