A big box of BudK

Ok ok I know they are flea market inc but it was a fun idea.
My anniversary was this month and rather than fuss over gifts my wife and I decided to do gift boxes instead.
My wife got a giant assortment of accessories, cosmetics, etc and I got knives.

This is the large mistery box, 3 bowie sampler, and knife of the month.
 Now I was not expecting it to be all knives; usualy these mistery boxes have some other stuff in them too...Mine had a patch
 :facepalm:

On an intresting note the 2 box sets have fixed blades as their centerpieces but no sheaths

Now there were some things I had been looking at buying anyway: the KissingCrane, that weird karambit, and I had wanted a machete.
Some others will get kitted; that skinner set is nice and packable, and the United Marine will probably go on a spare hiking gear that I never realy use(its a spare :dunno:)

All in all it was fun, and I will probably do a gift box from sombody again if only for entertainment and variety.

I have tried to seperate the 3 on the table so I hope you can tell which is which:
-3bowie: United NRA survival knife, United Machete, United Marine
-Knife of the month; TimberWolf tin set
-Grab bag: everything else

Cleaned up my second Ambassador and noticed that spring has broken, seem that cannot find those without over 10€+ shipping

Its an excellent lazy day tool.  Covers most bases and those not covered, I just refill my Iced tea glass and add them to my to do list.  I'll get back to then with proper tools eventually.   :D

Yes, the backsprings are a little spongy, but in use I haven't found that to bean issue. It's part of my outdoors gear, and as you can see in the pics, attached, not only is everything coordinated, but there's no Swiss knife there - just the Scout Jr. That should be an indication of the confidence I have in it.

Sorry, I don't have any decent pics of it in natural light, and I'm struggling to get a decent pic in artificial light.

Yes, the backsprings are a little spongy, but in use I haven't found that to bean issue. It's part of my outdoors gear, and as you can see in the pics, attached, not only is everything coordinated, but there's no Swiss knife there - just the Scout Jr. That should be an indication of the confidence I have in it.

Sorry, I don't have any decent pics of it in natural light, and I'm struggling to get a decent pic in artificial light.

Just won this auction for a SOG advertised as a PowerLock, but I think it's a Power Plier that predates the Powerlock. A bit of a gamble, but at € 30 incl. shipping the risk is not too big. Seller's pic, hasn't arrived yet.
