A wrong product :facepalm: I didn't order one with a name engraving and got one anyway I contacted the seller we'll see what happens. :dunno:

Looks to be in excellent condition. May be worth keeping and locating a replacement handle instead of returning. That is if the other option has signs of use.

I am back in Ireland, just getting my stuff.

And while out and about today, i found this SAK Solider knife on sale for €30....apparently it has been in their display since 2017....I always wanted one of these and now I own one for some none-justifiable reason...









Found one of these German made Pliers from IRWIN (made by NWS), this one has the “Compound action” system or “Powerslot” as they calls it.














Found this set too.



Found this thing at the hardware store as well, in any other case I would call this a gimmick, but since this one is from KWB in Germany, I suspect that there has some sort of German quality approval of it...It’s usually rare that the Germans approve anything that’s crap... so I figured I’d give it a try.

if I can't return it, I'll probably use it for parts fodder at some point.

I've successfully removed engraving from a swisstool.  Takes time but it came out really good.   :dunno:

Me neither. Corporate logos, no problem. In fact, the knife in my pocket has advertising for a rope company. People's names and personal engraving, they've got to go. At least with SAKs, you can replace the scales.

Well they are sending me a PST without the logo, as soon as I see that it has left arrived at a USPS facility I'll ship theirs back. At least they promptly fixed the problem! I've heard some ebayers drop the ball on resolving issues like this.

Usually anything “German made” / “Made in Germany” means quality materials used and quality fit and finish.

Sadly that hasn’t been the case with their cars for the last 20 years, ever since Daimler took over Mercedes ...and god knows what happened at VW and BMW, but their cars are not what they used to be....then again the same can be said about Japanese cars
