Not had much chance to play with it yet. I did have a "regular" set which I discovered was for soft materials. This is the MX type which is for harder workpieces. I'll be playing with polishing up a Sideclip over the next few weeks. Initial impression is this will be a big improvement over what I had before. They are supposedly very long lasting too, providing they're looked after

Mrs bought me a little something, something I’ve been after for a while since I’m reading the book 20,000 leagues under the sea, but it’s a model made metal earth style!

Just came in the mail this morning.  Great size for me and scary sharp. The 0350 has been on my wish list for a few years now.

Update:
I've been half-heartedly toying around with this, and it's good stuff. However, the brushed finish on tools really does hide a multitude of sins.
 :facepalm:
I think I need to start off with a little wet and dry to get beneath all the hidden blemishes first, and then work back from there.

The Gerber US1 and LED 2×AAA Maglite. They came in a combo pack for $14 at Wally world. Couldn't pass it up!   :o :D

A couple new craft knives today. OLFA SAC-1 very slim and pocketable with clip and 30deg blade. OLFA CK-2 is well-known (all stainless steel and brass), good 55mm blade edge and thicker than most (1.25mm). Even has a lanyard hole for EDC.  :tu:
