Nice...with Quattro?

Those are fun cars

Personally I think the Mk1 TT is the best looking TT....I almost bought one as my first car when I was 18, but I couldn’t afford a some what decent example of one....

....and now that I’m almost 30 and drive a 21 year old Jeep with 325000 km on the clock....I wouldn’t exactly say I have done well for myself in life so far...

it’s the Quattro 1.8 225bhp model
With only 66.000 miles on the clock
and it’s tuned to 250bhp at the moment  :tu:

Just because a car has high mileage
doesn’t mean it can’t be in good condition  :D

Nice find! ...I think that’s the top of the line model of the mk1 TT, right? ....I don’t think there was a V6 option on the mk1?

Well my Jeep is not in a good condition either....but it’s a user, and it was never bought to be a show car either. Which is perfect for me because I can park it anywhere and if someone decides to give it a massage with their keys; then it is no big deal as it’s already pretty scratched up...plus I can take it off road without having to worry about branches and such messing up the paint.

So it suits my needs perfectly

Plus being a 1998 it’s free of any environmental tax, it’s only road taxed by its weight and as a registered “van” (no back seats, just one big cargo area instead) it doesn’t fall under any “heavy vehicle tax” either.

Also “van insurance” is cheap too, mine is registered for both commercial and private usage, so I can’t get “commercial insurance”, but “van insurance” is less expensive than “passenger vehicle insurance”

So for me the pros out weights the cons

Got me a little something, my old cold steel died and I must say it writes good, so I got me a new one, and this way I can take my old one and mod it since I got a good one.
Another little something, the little guy joined a dungeons and dragons group at school, whether or not if he sticks with it idk, but I’m not going to go out and buy him all this stuff and then he just drops out and I’m out $$, but I saw this and couldn’t pass it up, he also like that cartoon about dragons and it can be used for other things so it’s not a waste..

Pentel P207. I'd got an Ikon K87 clone, but it's good to get my P200 trio back complete agin (I don't have/need the P203)

I also got a few cheap CR2016 cells to ressurect some Photon/Fauxton lights. Despite having many "better" lights, I still think they're an excellent little light source.

I'd love to find a Camo 600 to carry, but they are exceedingly hard to find in good condition, because the Camo paint chips so easily. :ahhh

The anti wallet, holster, and patch expander.

I also made my own holster for a slightly bigger section. On each side.

FINALLY! No more jingling.

Cheers,
HG
