Target Clearance 2014

It's that time of year again when Target clears out the old and in with the new. I don't think they are going to carry Leatherman anymore. They barely carry Vic anymore. Lot of Bear Grylls stuff though.

I scored a Stanley shot glass set for 4.99. Not a bad carry option to go with my bottles of scotch

they are clearing out the leathermans and vic tinkerers with vic branded survival cord bracelets sets. As well as some coleman flashlights, bunch of stanley thermos sets/flasks, and various other sporting equipment.

Might be worth a good checking out ifin youre near a target.

I checked out the Target by my house last weekend and they did have some multi-tools on clearance. They had the Leatherman Rebar on clearance for $39.99 which is more expensive than the Amazon price.

Also had a Gerber Fit but again the clearance price was basically the Amazon price.

They also had some no name small sized multi-tool in the dollar spot but I can't remember if it was $1 or $3.

Yea, ive been checking out the few targets around my area for some good mark downs. Esp a Vic huntsman... but no luck. They hardly carry any multitools anymore. Vic Classics are going for about 11 bucks... that's the only deal ive bit on.

Last year I picked up a gerber bg pocket tool for 5 bucks... sort of regretted it. Left a bad taste in my mouth for gerber products.

I stopped by the Target not too far from where I work during lunch and the only things I saw on Clearance were a Rebar (down to $39) and a Coleman flask.

Same here. They also had the Wingman for $20, but that's on sale at Home Depot right now for less.

This is probably why I have seen quite a few Rebar's on Ebay for around $35 or so!

EDIT: I have seen alot of them with the Target logo on the package!

I checked my local target (Chicago area) last weekend. They were sold out of Leathermans, except for a Style CS on clearance for $15. I already have one so I passed. I might have passed anyway, since it doesn't seem like that great of a deal.

They did have a wall full of Gerber Bear Grylls stuff, as well as a Victorinox Cadet, Huntsmen and Camper (none of which were on clearance)

went to two local targets today, no luck.

one had an empty peg and the other never had them to begin with. trying a few more locations tomorrow

I checked both of my local Targets, no dice

. I saw where they had the Rebar on clearance, unfortunately for me the shelves were empty.

My local target is the same thing. No specials but they had a silver and a black alox cadet. Never seen one in person till recently. So slim and sexy. Almost bought the black one.
