G-Shock G-2210 review and info
on: March 10, 2014, 12:32:13 AM
  G-shock-itus has set in

@Aloha007 sent me a G-shock   and I must say, this is another great watch.   :woohoo:

My only issue now is that each watch has something the others don't, none of them have it all!

My GD-350 has a beautiful negative display and vibration alerts.
the Rangeman has sunrise/sunset, and triple sensors
This G-2210, has a day counter that I love, and the ability to store names and numbers.

So here we go, G-shock circa 2001
This is a G-shock G-2210  module 2278

and the light is very green, but does a good job of becoming readable in the dark.

It does have a nice look to it and I am very happy to have it in my G-shock collection!  thank you Aloha, for your generosity!  :tu:   :hatsoff:

the day counter feature is cool,  I programmed my start time with my employer, and can easily check and see that I have 5,560 days towards my retirement.

I love watching hte second sounter that works it's way across the top, and this watch helps me realize that I should have discovered G-Shock watches ages ago, instead of the bottom shelf crap I bought.  oh well, I know am aware of them, and I will check the flea markets every chance I get.

since this watch is older, I was not able to find as many videos to share, but it is a great watch anyway.
If I can help, let me know

5,560 days :ahhh

I don't even wanna think how much I have left till retirement. They'll probably change it till then.

BTW, you're developing a bit of an G-Shock collection. A possible new addiction on the horizon. ;)

This has been my everyday beater for about 11 years.  Some cosmetic issues as you would expect but otherwise still works perfectly, considering it's been used and abused. Think I am coming to the end of the life of its third battery.

first, fyi, that is days I have been employed,  I have about 7,200 days until I can retire  (if they do not change the requirements on me)

and yes,  these things are amazing.  I HOPE to just start looking at flea markets and such,  I do not want to keep buying new ones
