:woohoo: Really looking forward to testing that screwdriver. I think it will take a while until it is here though. Postal service still has massive backlog from the holidays.
The Soldier I ordered a while back has been stuck in a nearby distribution hub for 5 days and counting  :(

Nice  :like:

CyberTool 34 / M has been my work EDC for a while -- great for electronics and lab work.

Very handy to have in the lab as the lab tools are always missing or misplaced. At first I got some interesting looks about using an SAK, but they've all seen the light when they spend 15 minutes trying to find some pliers to loosen a nut.  :pok:

Some people just need a push in the right direction  :pok: :D

I really like the small pliers a.k.a super tweezers. I mostly use pliers for delicate tasks anyway, and these excel at those tasks. Experience also shows that If I need larger pliers, MT pliers won’t do most of the time. Either they don’t open wide enough, or I can’t get a good grip with them. Might as well grab dedicated pliers.

It's a great tool set; as long as you don't find it too thick or too heavy, I think you'll be pleased.

I should get along fine with it. It has similar dimensions as the Handyman, and I have no issues carrying and using that one

Was off work Monday in a modding mood and came up with a “CyberSwissChamp Lite AVT.” Curious about what you guys think.  Sacrificed a beat up CT41, used Traveller Lite, & new SwissChamp. Size complete is the same as a Swisschamp XLT. Turned leftovers into a Craftsman with addition of backside Phillips I had from previous projects.

Pretty versatile tool there. Nice bonus to have a spare Craftsman

I need to source some T-Phillips (and brass rods?) to convert a couple over.

Pretty cool, although personally I don't think a CT requires a backside Philips. Would have gone for a corkscrew instead.

Did you glue the electronic scales on or could you re-use them without resorting to adhesives? Did you include the Traveller's punctured liner in your Mod? I suppose the hole in the liner is for the altimeter to work properly. I am not carrying my electronic scale SAK's often enough to get them gunky, but whenever I have one in my pocket I wonder /worry if pocket lint will eventually clog the hole in the liner and negative effects on the altimeter. Any experiences in that regard?

Thanks guys, I did not put the Phillips on the cybertool mod, but I did stick it on the back side of the craftsman. Got the brass rods cheap off AliExpress. As to the the disassembly of Traveller, you defiantly have to take your time. I reverse engineered from the back scale one layer at a time. Removed the final liner as careful as possible prior to pulling the pins. This was my most challenging part of mod. One of those patience is a virtue things. I really think they did a great job with the electronic components. I used the outer liner off traveler and only needed to apply one drop of super glue in each of the holes and the polyamide scales fit exactly as they did on the traveler. Size is reasonable and I really like the functionality. Highly recommend trying it if you guys find yourselves in the modding mood.

No need. Like the sapphire better than I thought. Reminds me of Tron, which is very fitting for a Cybertool  :D

So, what do you think of it?

Love it. Already tested the screwdriver, and it is sturdier than I expected. It will do fine for my uses  :tu:

Already searching for additional bits or a 1/4” to 4mm adapter  :D

I felt at least partially responsible for you ordering one based on discussions in the “What SAK surprised you most?” thread, so I’m glad to hear it is meeting expectations!”

Bunch of enablers, all of you  :D

I really like it. For the time being, it kicked the Handyman off my EDC tray  :tu:

Indeed - I moved the tools around a little on my CT34 (started out as a CT lite) to put the bit holder in the middle.

No need, I like it the way it is. Doesn't bother me that the screwdriver is not centered. It makes it easier to use in some areas. You can't turn the SAK completely, but it still allows you to turn the screws by turning the SAK halfway, and then resetting it. Not doable if the screwdriver is centered.
