I'm not sure I could say I'm 'nuts' about the PST, but I do really like it. I wouldn't even call it my favourite Leatherman.

What I do think it excels in is what I'll call "Utility to size ratio". It is so comparatively small, and yet still provides a lot of functionality.

Thanks guys  :salute:

@mr626  A great way to describe them " Utility to size ratio".  What I like best is the heritage of this tool.  From this simple yet very functional tool we have got so many terrific variations later down the through the years.

PST
 Love at first site.

The pst was the first leatherman I ever seen/touched

I bought myself a pst 2:not to long later.

that was about 15 20 years ago.

I just got my first pst last month and I can see now why it made me want a leatherman so badd back then.

its a great feeling tool it has just the right tools to get me buy most of the time

  :multi:

the pulse is probably my favorite leatherman I've owned so far but it wouldn't exist without pst.

I guess I'm in too.  I have more PSTs than any other single tool (and seeing as I have lots of Schrade ST1 Tough Tools and Gerber Mr Pinchies that is saying something).  I like the early PSTs (US and Japanese) and it is fun trying to track down all the different variants.  It also helps that most of them aren't too expensive.

The only thing better than a PST is a PST II :)
PST II's are quite welcome in this thead!  :multi:

I edc this pst 2 Monday through Friday when I am off work.  I love it. A pst 2 was my first leatherman tool many years ago.

I do sometimes wish it locked but I got a pulse for those days :tu:
