So I'm not the only one who woke up naked in a ditch face down with an empty Swisstool box wedged between my nethers?

Wow - really cool looking small Tinker there, SporK.

Small Tinkers have been my EDC for many years, but mine have all been factory stock.

I wouldn't mind having one as handsome as that.

I love ironwood... I just hate working the stuff.  I'd rather grind away at something easier like steel or granite!  But it sure is beautiful, innit? :D

Has anyone made a Vic "Stock" knife?

(Say, Large Spearpoint, small spearpoint, & electricians?)

or something along those lines.

Something in Blue Alox would be nice, but my only option here is the Pioneer or Classic.

(Not that there is anything ungentlemanly about the Climber)

I did mention it, actually.  From page 1:

Quote from: NutSAK
I have three SAKs that I consider gentleman's knives.

ribbed Cadet (84mm) (any Cadet will do)
Golfer w/long nail file (84mm)
Executive (74mm)

It would be difficult for me to select a favorite between the Golfer and the Cadet.  A slight advantage goes to the Golfer for the scissors, but I really like the traditional can opener/screwdriver of the Cadet.  The Cadet is also very slim.

Wouldn't ANY SAK carried by a gentleman be a "gentleman's SAK"?  :D :D

Earlier I said I'd carry my Farmer but I got to thinking about it and if my wife told me that tomorrow we have to get dressed up and go to a wedding I'd probably just stick my Fieldmaster in my pocket.

Vic alox Bantam feels deceptively thin and fills this niche need for me when I go to formal dinners. The wood scales on the other knives might look good to knife collectors, but nowadays everybody who sees the shiny alox scales of the Bantam are totally awestruck by it since none of them have very mature knife interests or experience.

I'm reasonably sure the selling point of a knife should not be "Maybe I can use this to get people to listen to me about my obsession"

Why don't you just buy a Badge "Ask me about Multitools"
