Making Lemonade
on: March 23, 2024, 01:24:47 AM
A couple of weeks back I picked up this Executive for $2.00 at my local flea market. It had some wear, but I didn't own one yet. The one major issue it had was a broken orange peeler blade. I carried it for a couple of days like that before I had an idea,,,, a scraper blade. So with a sharpening stone I began to shape what was left of the peeler blade until I decided it looked good. Well let me tell you,, little did I know how handy this blade would be. At work I use this little scraper for something almost daily. I am beyond pleased with it as an EDC.

Reckon this qualifies for a Mod User Badge?

Thanks for looking!

Looks great!

I have been tinkering with the idea of taking the tee punch from one of the golfer tools and stuffing it into the Executive; since the Golf tool's folding bits are the same as the 74mm line.

LOL,,,, I am blessed to have a good one within 10 minutes of me,,,,,,,,,,,, much to my wife's dismay. (it interferes with her honey-do-list
If it is sunny out, you can safely bet I will be there on Saturday mornings.

You definitely have better flea markets than we do, GA.  Cool mods.
