HEST sees a lot of use.  I'm not sure the name describes this knife best tho.  Any who I do like it.

Carrying my HEST again today.  Here are few more epic of it.  Inside the handles I keep a small ferro rod, jute, fat wood, and Tinder quick.  It all fits nicely in the zip top baggie keeping the jute and tinder quick dry.

Much appreciated, Nix.
Admittedly it had been neglected in my shop for years. I had forgotten about it until yesterday. When I found it again(rusty, moldy, and corroded),  it got a good cleaning, polishing, and leather treatment. The size is excellent.  :)

I might mess this up.....

The maker is Andy Roy of Fiddleback Forge. The knife model is, I believe, his 'Bush Boot'.  But don't quote me, it's an old knife and I'm not good at model names..... :-\
