I am belt carrying it between my 2 back pockets in the sheath it came with :cheers: I am.pulling it with my right hand  :tu:

Blade thickness  is 0.13" (3.3 mm)
Weight 3.6 oz (not sure of the grams)

Sounds like a great way to carry it.  I do like that blade size a lot.  It falls close enough for my preferences.  Its got a great look and I've had good luck with 8CR steel.  Glad you are enjoying carrying it and enjoying it.

I was going to replace the horizontal sheath when I got it but I figured I should try it first.  It really is so comfortable that I decided to use it as is.  I carry it on my left side and draw with my right hand.

Your example is what got me interested in these knives to begin with  :tu: and the sheath that comes with these are very nice, glad you decided to carry it in the fixed blade challenge you were in Alan :like:

This is a Buck Model 116 Caper.I packed this for a walk through the forest,in preparation for turkey season.

I reshaped the handle to be far more compact than the original.It rides well and close to the body.

The top picture is the current/reshaped handle profile.
The second picture is another 116 with factory profile.
The last picture illustrates the difference.
