Honestly, this knife fits my hand the best of any I have owned. Opinel comes close, but I really dig the barrel shaped handle, not to mention the blade profile. Up the hardness if the steel, make it fully flat ground, and possibly full tanged, and that might just be my perfect fixed blade.

Wont be much Mora left then ;)

Doesn't necessarily have to be a Mora. The profile and ergos of the knife are what's important to me

Been carrying this Geilo stainless work knife today. The Mora Classic rusted so much in  the salsmurfer conditions I did not have the heart to continue using it.
I bought this one for aprox $5 in a hardware store. It has a combined plastic and rubber handle wich is nice in wet conditions. Its a fake scandi though as it has a second bevel.

I'm going for a little walk in the forest later. I will be taking my Cold Steel Trailmaster and Rifleman's hawk.

That's a great looking kit mate.  What do you call the bag?  I'd think of it as a haversack, but I don't think the term is used quite the same way over your side of the water.

Haversack is right. I made it a few months back. Seems to be working out great. Has not fallen apart yet.

Cold Steel Roach Belly (love that knife) was used tonight to harvest a couple of leeks ...

... which I'm quite impressed with actually considering they were grown in pots and the seeds weren't sown till April. The edible part of one (once trimmed) was 18" and the other was 20".

It was then the job of a Cold Steel Bushman (for no other reason than what the heck  :D) to chop 'em up ready for blanching and freezing. Those two on their own have given me enough leek for 2 full 3 litre loads in my slowcooker for leek and potato soup. Although I'm actually going to use Jersualem Artichokes in lieu of 50% of the potato ..... but the ones I harvested today are not fully developed, hence having to freeze the leeks  :-\

I wore my Ka-bar under my vest today- didn't need to, but I hadn't done so in a long time.

Stew sent me this Mora, thanks again Stew, so I have been carrying it today and giving it a little work out.
So far, it seems to be holding up just fine. Even after batoning some wood, making feathersticks and cutting some rope, it is still shaving sharp.
