That is the Dpx Hest, made by Rowen, like the ESEE knives. The one in the picture was part of the ESEE offerings, till Pelton created the DPX Gear.

Great looking knife - top of my list for a fixed blade.

Yeah, it's a tough work horse indeed, and my favorite fixed blade.

Nothing today as I'm back in an urban setting, but carried a Cold Steel Finn Bear for a couple of days while I was delivering the boat to it's new home.

The grip on that proved very effective with cold wet hands, especially when working underwater to clear a fouled prop - first time was a heavy duty polythene bag, then a couple of times later in the trip with heavy weeds. The construction also lends itself to being easilly cleaned to make sure I get rid of all the nasties lurking in the water.

Add to this the high ride position and slim profile of the sheath for reduced risk of snagging, plus the ease of sharpening if the blade edge contact the prop or propshaft (sometimes unavoidable), and it's an excellent choice of knife for that kind of activity. The price also means you aren't too worried about losing it in the murky depths if you do let it go. The lack of serrations isn't really an issue either, even on wet polyprop lines, if you use it the right way

Counting from left to right I'd pick second and fourth (SRK and F1?).

Nice knives there :tu:
