This one looks to have a proper 1/4" hole.

I ordered one of each and some other goodies, so expect a bit of a word when they arrive.

+1! I especially like the price of the Piranha clone; can't wait to see if it's actually usable.

Gojkan, you've got some explaining to do.  :wait:

Yes, either Gojkan is making them (not very likely :P ) or he could sue them for name infringement. :P

I bought one of those also.  It's ok,but not as good as the other one I bought off eBay. The finish is rougher on the edc gear and its thinner in some spots.
I gave $10 for this one I believe.

Looks that way, but it isn't really in the way of anything in actual use.

After a few months use, I give it a thumbs up.

I ordered one, along with several of these mini drivers, which previously I have only been able to find at one other vendor.

(Huh, DX lets you link to their images?)
This is a clone of the Munroe Mega Dangler. I have the EDCgear one. It's a bit chunky, but otherwise works well. The clip is tight enough to hang off a single sheet of paper yet slips on clothes easily. Perfect about of spring. I sharpened one edge slightly to open boxes. EDCgear seems to be in the business of cloning this kind of stuff.

I love being able to discuss these products openly here. You even have a forum for them! Some forums make you feel bad for using clones.

I think the general opinion here, is that, as long as it can be considered a multi tool, it doesn't really matter if it's a clone or chinese knock-off; personally, I'm thinking about getting the PWII-clone from DX, to find out whether or not I want the real thing. So all in all, copies/clones are good for the industry - the large manufacturers need to keep their tools in a reasonable price-range and those that copy the tools, might actually act as a "gateway drug", to the real tools.
Or does that only make sense in my head?...

Just received one of the PWII copies, from Amazon: clicky.  Quite nicely made, works well and less than £3.50.  Was expecting a plain one as shown on the product page, but it's actually got the EDC Gear logo like the ones on the DX website.

I've had the PW2 clone for two months now. Works fine, does what is expected. 1/4 inch driver hole is correctly sized.
