I want to see what you are working on. There are a lot of glamor shots of well used tools. But what are you working on with them?
This is a hitch I am working on with mine today. Plenty more use and pictures to come.
I tried to edit title, it wouldn't  let me.

I mostly use mine at work but I am off at the moment :cheers: I carry a MT because my trade (bricklaying) doesn't typically carry the tools to work on some of our equipment in our tool bag, so it is always great to have screwdrivers and the like close at hand :tu:

I can change the title of the thread as well but whichever mod can get to it first is best :tu:

I went online (Outside of Tapatalk app) and was able to edit the title. Thanks for the prompt response! I like this place. Who knew such a cool place existed?

You can see the “engine” also peeking in the container behind the tail fin, that’s what was in it, I’m trying to switch it over to battery motor, also need some cleaning, I’ve had that since like 1995,,

TODAY I. . ..  ....broke my winch cable. .
Again working on getting my 69 off the trailer. It was wedged on there good.

Exactly, That was the goal. Now I can relax a little. A lot more work for the leatherman though!

My father-in-law and I worked on a 53 Willy’s jeepster, that was fun, we ended up taking the inline 4 and dropping a 79 corvette 350 in, the fun part was the exhaust, the passenger side was down and straight back, the drivers side on the other hand, huh, down, curve a little right then back then left then back then right again then finally back, like dang! Best of luck with the truck

My truck originally had an inline six and I pulled it to put the 302 in.
That is my biggest regret for this truck. I wish I had left the straight 6 in it.

We couldn’t leave the original inline four cause it was seized, so if it’s not the actual “original” with matching numbers it doesn’t matter what you put in it, we had a bigger engine with a triple carburetor intake but no transmission, so we traded it with a friend who had the 350 which had a transmission.
I might as well tell the story of first starting it, my father in law dabbed a little gas in the carb and told me to turn it over, and I did, it turned over like once but then gave out, so he dabbed a little more gas and asked me to turn it over again, now we had to put block hugging exhaust manifolds on cause with a 350 in a Jeep front end there’s absolutely no room, anyway, they pointed straight down and this was before we put the wacky pipes on, so I turned it over and BOOM, it started but fire balls blew down out each manifold across the floor then one one right out the carburetor, I quickly cut it but the carburetor was still on fire, so the old man stuck his head in and tried blowing the fire out all with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth, I tried not to laugh but I reached over grabbed a shop towel and threw it over the engine and the old man looked over and I was still laughing, he still had the cig hanging, I’ll never forget the look on his face! Needless to say the engine started very easily the next time, lol..

I might as well tell the story of first starting it, my father in law dabbed a little gas in the carb and told me to turn it over, and I did, it turned over like once but then gave out, so he dabbed a little more gas and asked me to turn it over again, now we had to put block hugging exhaust manifolds on cause with a 350 in a Jeep front end there’s absolutely no room, anyway, they pointed straight down and this was before we put the wacky pipes on, so I turned it over and BOOM, it started but fire balls blew down out each manifold across the floor then one one right out the carburetor, I quickly cut it but the carburetor was still on fire, so the old man stuck his head in and tried blowing the fire out all with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth, I tried not to laugh but I reached over grabbed a shop towel and threw it over the engine and the old man looked over and I was still laughing, he still had the cig hanging, I’ll never forget the look on his face! Needless to say the engine started very easily the next time, lol..
