I am one that is happy did not predrill and tap screws holes for the REBAR AND ST300.

Both tools are too heavy for a pocket clip.  I had no issues carrying in the sheath on the belt behind the belt loop before the right back pocket.   And, now one rides in my shoulder bag for events and hike excursions I  get involved with.

The tapped holes on the BOND drove me nuts until I installed the clip.  Should have been included in the package.

The pocket solution I have adopted for the REBAR and will work for the ST300, Surge, and WAVE / Charge models is utilize the lanyard loop,  cut a piece of paracord about 14 to 20”, attach a lobster claw or clip to the cord. Tie it in sloop.  Then thread it onto your belt, attach the clip to the tool and slide into pocket.
When needed, just pull the cord to retrieve the tool, un-Clip and use.

For the tool to stay vertical just shorten the cord to keep the tool from laying in bottom of pocket.

Much less expensive than any clip.   I have a cord made for the purpose, will retrieve and picture. 😉

I have a clip on a Rebar and really love it  they do weigh less than a Wave or Charge, I believe   I have pocket carried a Surge, so I know a ST300 is definitely possible as well

Even if it wasn't the holes for the Free type clip, they should have an option for one :salute:

I should also include that I sheath carry 5 days a week for work and love that method as well :tu: I just prefer not to sheath carry when I am just out on weekends (unless I am doing lots of yard work of course ;) ) or just making a trip to town or eating out :D and that is my reasoning for wanting a clip option for everything  I have pocket carried ST300, Surge, Rebar, PSTs and the like plenty and a clip would have been definitely nice

As promised, the lanyard solution I have used with pocket carry of Fixed blade Izula in Sheath.

Can be employed with Rebar or ST300.

This lead is longer as it intends for the base of the sheath to be at bottom of pocket. I would shorten 6 - 8” d pending on how deep your pockets are.

Since installing the pocket clip the Bond hasn’t left my side.

Got a new batch of magazines in so the Bond was pressed into service to help install the correct base plates.

A Sig fan, here!

But, I  directed my  interest toward sharp and shiny items  about the time the P3xx models were entering the market.

A P250 SC equals a 12 round revolver on my hip.  Same frame and mags as the P3s

No, not at awl!

I found three hand guns I learned to use, and carry.
Complimenting other skills to survive if situation requires.
DA/SA for one and DAO the other two.

(Image removed from quote.)

How is the pocket-feel on the Bond when your hand pushes past it into the pocket to grab something else? I rarely use the pocket clip in my Skeletool because it has sharp corners that dig in when trying to push my hand past.
I would love to have a light weight pocket clip Leatherman that is also comfortable in that regard. (I tried the Wave but it’s too heavy for pocket clip IMO).

There are some factors to consider;

How large are your hands?
Mine are XXL at least.  Do not slide by any item clipped at the pocket.

How large is the pocket  opening?
Some jeans have scoop tops, others slant tops.

My work around is to slide the Bond and clip into the right rear pocket on the right most corner.   I also, have carried my REBAR in that same pocket but let it lay at the pocket’s bottom horizontal. Rides below the right rear cheek ☺️

That’s very true. My hands are larger than average so I just assume they will rub against any tool or knife I have clipped in my pocket. I guess what I’m really asking is does the Bond have any sharp edges or corners at the top that would hurt to rub past or is it mostly smooth.

This part at the top of the Skeletool makes it unusable for me with the pocket clip.

Cannot confirm, as I never have attempted as I knew my hands just do not slide into the front right if a knife is clipped to the pocket top.

Plus I am left handed, so change pouch, keys and my vagabond sheath or in front left everyday. Wallet in back left👍

Sorry to say the Bond isn’t the best tool for sharing pocket space. It is small but the top is all square and sharp.

Dedicate the pocket, use a rear pocket or just deal with it seem to be the answer here.

Went with deal as my solution.
