Just discovered the forum...I had no idea that modding leathermans was something that others did for fun too!

Here's a Juice S2 that I put some Carbon fiber scales on. I also removed the dumb bottle opener so both sides are now flush with each other and I can open all of the tools without it getting in the way.

My first ever Leatherman "mod"....a Charge AL converted to Carbon fiber scales. Super easy mod, and I've used this one daily at work for probably 10+ years. I was worried that the carbon fibre would soak up oil and liquids and delaminates, but it's been bulletproof.

Very nice.  I'm modding my S2 too.  I broke a back spring on the pliers, so the project went on hold, but I got an old S2 this week, so I will go back to work on my S2.

I've only been lurking on here a few days (getting lots of ideals!!!), but I haven't seen anybody attempting this yet!  I've cut the "scales" off of a Wave, ground down the end bits, and attempting to put the nice black scales from my Charge AL onto it. It's turned out to be more of a project than I had originally thought since the stock pivots won't work and they need to be longer than most places will supply. Thanks to Loki new longer pivots from a Charge are on the way....along with a knife upgrade. Thank you Loki!!!

Agreed. Very nice and incidentally non-trivial mods. Any ideas for a name?  Chave? ;)

I bought a broken CS, took blade from it and put it on PS. PS now don't have file and tweezers. But who need tweezers with such a perfect pliers?
I call it Style PCS  ::)

That's what Leatherman should have made!  I don't why they seem to hate having pliers, a knife blade, and scissors all together on their smaller tools?!?!

Thanks to Loki scoring some Charge pivots for me, the Chave is completed. It was much more of project than I originally thought it would be. Lots of grinding, assembly/disassembly, and trial and error to make it all work. It feels much better in my hand than a standard wave, but I don't know if I'd do it again. Flamed the frame while it was apart too...
