Erm.. Do you really need to remove the carabiner to add the ring? There's already holes to attach the rings? Imo the carabiner serves as a extended handle to use the scissors.. I dun use the carabiner but definitely like it there for its longer handle..

It's a personal preference. I hated that carabiner.

A very minor hack to my Style CS:

Got rid of the chisel grind on the blade using the diamond file on my TTi and my Lansky. 8)

Since the diameter of the Wave pivot screw is biger (1mm or less) than the Wingman, you need to grind the pivot hole on the scissors just a bit, a Dremel tool will do the trick. Don't grind to much because you will ruin the scissors, just make sure to grind a little bit at a time while checking the Wave pivot screw until it goes through the hole.

Good luck! :tu:

Great informative video Raoul Oc! :salute:...For those planning on taking apart their Wave and replacing the pliers head, make sure the new pliers are oriented and installed the exact same way, otherwise it will be difficult to close the tool if they are installed backward.

Actually i notice the material around the pivot for the Charge blade will not quite fit.. There's not enough material to fill in. It will over extend and will not lock. Eager to see what you can come up with.  :)
