I guess my PST qualifies me for this club...Was a basket case when I got it, scratched and filthy and a snapped off blade. It's now a PST 1.5 with a serrated blade and all cleaned up and polished.(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)
Any possibility of contracting one of the good gentlemen here to do a mod for me? I'd very much like to get the rebar head and awl onto my wave..... Lack of skill and tools keeps me Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I can't seem to find him to send a PM...Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Interesting. So you managed to fit all the tools in the handles still by removing the OH blade lock from the inside of the handles? That's been mentioned a couple of times now. I guess I should give that a go on my Wave instead of grinding tools.
be careful, if you cannot manage to re-peen the rivet tight enough, your tools on that side will not lock. I had a hard time of it, because the shape makes it hard to hold the rivet head in tight while peening. took me an hour to get my lock working again, but I finally got it
I'm interested to see how that file holds up with some use.I made a removable can opener for the Surge but it was too thin and didn't take long to break.Still using the small bit driver eh.
In case you wonder why I call it the "Mini-Surge".(Image removed from quote.)
I know members here appreciate MTs more than the general population, but ....that picture would make a great 11" x 17" portrait oriented framed masterpiece.
I might have got one or two cunningly adjusted Leathermans ... ... Well, five actually
