IMR does an everyday carry dump
on: February 07, 2024, 11:58:32 AM
I think I have done a half dozen EDC pocket dumps on this site.  I will admit there isn't much to be excited about when I do one.  Same stuff every day mostly.  Sometimes I switch up the pocket knife.  If I am doing a challenge, then whatever the challenge requires is what I carry.  Same basic stuff.  Phone, wallet, loose money, paper towel, one folding knife.  I do take along some keys (if I can find them).
I have invited a couple of friends to post their EDC pocket dumps in this thread with me.  Maybe I can apply for the EDC badge.  Anyone and everyone else is invited to throw in their contribution to the thread.  I find what people carry around with them fascinating.
Best wishes.  Gary (IMR)

I'll join in, here my EDC for the month of Feb. My knife and tool changes depending on challenge or what I'm looking to carry. The Viperade pouch has Lynch Pry bar, Tactile Turn pen, Stream light AAA light, Kershaw screwdriver to work on pocket knives. On the inside I've got a Leatherman bit kit and bit extender. I'm carrying Gerber Drive products so today is the original Armbar. Other pocket items include handmade wallet, handkerchief, pocket notebook, and keyring that has medication and my Loop Engage.

Here's mine. I probably carry way more junk than I need to. I'm a very sentimental person, so some of it is solely because of that and not because I need it.

Nice carry kits, fellas.  Is that the CASE peanut that you skinned a deer with, Montana?  I don't usually carry a flashlight.  I might have to rethink that.  Thanks a lot for the help.  Best wishes. Gary

Here's my carry for this morning.  I didn't used to a carry a flashlight but started to a few years back.  I find it very convenient to do so, more so now that my eyes are getting older.  My knives change depending on the challenge I'm in.  I didn't used to carry a Minichamp until I did the Minichamp challenge.  I was thoroughly impressed what I could do with it so I made it part of my EDC.  The little black case is my folding readers.

May the best of your past, be the worst of your future.

Thanks for the posts David, Montana, and Aztec.  I figured that there would be less attention posting this in the Gadget and EDC forum instead of General Tool section.  That's fine with me.  Aztec, you might be the only fellow who carries a moustache maintenance kit.  Yes, I am definitely taking another look at flashlight carry.  Best wishes and thanks again.  Gary (IMR)

Sure is! Gutted it with it too. I have a picture of it on top of the gut pile but might be too gruesome for the forum. It was not ideal but it worked!

Here's mine for today, minus keys. Going extremely light, no manual labour today. This is what I carry when in a suit.

Must admit, feels naked.

The 91mm SAK is a Tinker and the 58mm is my Mini Super Tinker… I mean, Rambler!

The duct tape is wrapped around an expired library card and the elastic thing is what I use as a wallet.
