Jus bought a LED lenser P4 .

I like penlights , bought one at Lowes .  1st. Smurf off , both sets of Batts. were dead , will address the issue with Lowes .

I got the beam focused to what config I wanted , I like the form factor . The Lanyard ring is a total POS . F&F looks good , LED quality looks good . Pouch sheath looks pretty useless if you wear shirts with pockets . LED tint is a bit on the blue side , OK for me , prolly not good for EMT's and such .

I'll continue to give feedback , as I play with it more .

Already , I can say , I dont like the focusing system - I prefer lights that get it right the first time . The spring tension on the switch is too light compared to my present fave , the Stylus Pro .

I've concluded the thing's a bust . The switch is too easy to acctivate by accident . The blue tint is much inferior to my Streamlight Stylus Pro .

The two crappy sets of batteries , lead me to wonder what other shortcuts they took .

Geez, the K2 is awesome and I woulda though the others were good as well. You just never can guess a product based on others being good. Kinda like Gerber I suppose...

It's slowly growing on me , easy to reholster in the shirt pocket pen slot ( due to constant diameter ) , as long as the switch doesn't touch anything , you're golden .

I edc a led lenser m1

its been a fantastic light.

I love the focus system. Great floody light when you need it or adjust the focus to make it a decent thrower.

I only have one led lenser with focus. I like it. I also got a little k2 that's a decent little light. Its got to blue of a tint but for its size its a good little light.

I'm sorry to hear you don't like yours Styerman

Sorry to hear you don't like your Lenser Styerman.

I own half a dozen and take them out with me a couple times a week shooting rabbits on other local farms and have for many years. I run a scope mounted P7 with pressure switch and a P17 on a belt holster (I've also got a few other models). All of them are excellent, very robust torches. From my experience, these guys don't take shortcuts.

My P7 is 4+ years old and has been through hell and back and still is my "old reliable" when I need a torch I can rely on.
My P17 (the full maglite sized one) has been run over by my 4x4, used to smash a window and even finish off a poor possum that wasn't quite done in.

I know the bigger models I'm talking about aren't the pen sized lights you are talking about, but these things are tough and reliable. That's why they're pricey.

I hope yours grows on you.

Pricey compared to what?
