Kaywoodies are inexpensive...why are they so good?
It is a good pipe for a good price. And it smokes great. And generally I don't care for stingers in a pipe, but it works.
Dr Grabow pipes are very good pipe too, and they don't cost a fortune either. My best smoking pipes are Dr. Grabows.

About to sit on the deck and have a quick puff, and relax in the fresh air for a few.  Just having a Cohiba Mini...  Or maybe two. :D

Thanks!  I had to try your trick too.  Doesn't work great with these little ones, but allowed me to smoke it a little more than I normally could. :tu:

I've done that with the Micra combo tool as well. I haven't tried it with an awl yet.

I've heard a few people say that the Skull Crusher is a pretty good smoke.  I wish I lived closer to the city so I could go to the cigar shop and have a look at what they have.

I'd have to take notes from all the different ones you guys smoke though, or I'd be completely lost going in! lol

It is a nice strong smoke as would be expected from Man O War.

Those look like very nice sticks!!! :tu:

Is that skull crusher a perfecto (with closed wrapper at the end)?

Nice review of that one here.

Yes. Both ends are closed. I accidentally smoked the wrong end the other night. I took the bands off and it was dark when I lit it. That's my final answer :D

Gotta be careful and not split the wrapper. On bigger cigars, the awl works great and there is no noticeable effect on draw! The "L" shaped cross section keeps the stogie from spinning around the axis of the awl.

Liga Privada UF-13 right now on the porch taking a break from a video edit. I smoked a couple earlier but the only one of real interest that I haven't mentioned here was the Padilla Signature 1932. Pretty good smoke
